Getting mine next first week of march. I love that you can basically build the scooter from the parts that they sell, and you probably could if you email them. Just an overall awesome company

Beautiful Scooter Brother. Thank you 🙏 for the review. You helped me talk myself into getting two of these. One for myself & one for my wife. I can buy two of these for almost the same price as one RX7. Plus having two removable batteries 🔋 is just beautiful. I can put one in my backpack 🎒 & go for longer rides & recharge inside of a restaurant etc out of my backpack 🎒 while eating etc. beautiful set up. 👊

I absolutely love my Max. The range has actually gotten better after a few cycles. So much so that I charge it to around 80%, 55.7 volts and call it a day unless I know I’m going on a long ride. If I do single motor on 2 I can get better than the listed range. For me, it’s been a game changer.

I have a couple of questions. I have watched many RUclips videos and some people in the comments straight up told me that roadrunner lied about the speed by up to 20 miles an hour. Obviously there are some hidden variables in the statement that sentence was pulled from such as rider height and weight but people have seemed to have nothing but issues. Have you had any very minor inconveniences after opening the box or riding after a month? I ordered mine a week ago after canceling an electric unicycle order but I would litterally hate to explain to my dad why we have to cancel another 2000+ dollar order for quality issues after buying safety equipment and helmets. Please advise!

@@ReasonRaider I’ve had mine since November and ride it almost daily. Besides a flat tire I really haven’t had much of an issue. I’m a big guy and it gets close to the advertised speed on a full charge. Not sure why you would want to send it back.

@@sweetdaddy77 some people in the comments section seemed to have the worst experiences a customer could have, leaky brakes, brakes that don’t work, not to mention one guy got 20 mph below advertised speed. (Not sure if it was some special Ed kid who couldn’t figure out speed modes so I can’t tell if it’s true or not) and so on. I’m one of those people that can tolerate 3-4 mph lower speed than advertised but not 8-20 for $2700. Could you please tell me the fastest you have gotten?

@@ReasonRaider I weigh around 300 lbs. 45 or so on a full charge. 38 or so around a half charge or so. Given my weight I have no issue with top speed performance. Mine is the Max and on speed 1, dual motor I got almost 60 miles on a charge. Very satisfied overall.

@@sweetdaddy77 oh nice! So that guy saying it goes 20 mph under the 50 mph rated speed probably got some kind of defective unit? He said he was 6,1 and 275. I’m just trying to get by in this world of misleading comments and posts

The turning thing is true for my big boy scooters, best to lift from the back and turn it that way. Speeds up the movement. I just got mine and love it. Agree with the key proteco

To lock your bolts you need a tread locker you can get themfrom homedepot or hardware stores. I used it on my scooter no more loose tread the blue one is temporary and the red is permanent. I used the blue is much easier to remove.

Getting mine soon. I did a ton of research. And for the weight and power etc. unless you go 3k plus and heavier scooter.
This is the fastest scooter at it class right now.
    This is what I learned:
The ceo make sure the stuff comes out good and actually goes to the factory.
That a plus. And you can easily fix this scooter and change stuff easy.
The tires are actually 11 inch. A 85/65/6.5 is 10.9 inch. The pmt is 100/55/6.5 which is a 10.8 inch. But rated at 11 inch of course.
I think they just typo that which is weird. Because they do have there rs5 + at actual 10 inch tire rating:
So if you looking for “more power” which I wish they had the 62v 28ah LG battery. On the rs5 max. That be perfect scooter.
But most scooters at 72 v that are safe to go at 60+ are costing 4k.
At this price I don’t mind going 50 and under.
Also the ones that went 39 had bad controller. The RUclipsr that did it retested at 48mph:
I just don’t think scooters should be going past 50:
I drove motorcycle for 20 years. And what I know. I can say 50 is just fine.
So with that said. I chose the rs5. And I looked at a lot of scooter. Another brand caught my eye was maxfun.
1500 w 72v 24ah LG with PMT tires…. But they just too new

Hello there! So I know that Roadrunner has released the Pro and Max versions of the scooters, but they still sell the RS5 and RS5+ batteries on their website. Do you know if these batteries are compatible with the Pro and Max series scooters? Thank you!

    • @Loudmaryjane

I was told by the owner of RR himself the batteries are compatible. RS5 Battery is 23ah, RS5+ 28ah, and the new Max will have a 32ah batt.

Since they think they did such a amazing job making that scooter did they put self healing gel in the tires? And another question is it plug and play type wire, those wires thats on near the swing arms to easily disconnect and remove whole wheel to change tires?
