Looks pretty attractive for a long term buy and hold

As a Charter Customer I know how they are increasing their margins, they give you an intro rate to start then jack up the prices... Not sure if thats going to be a long lasting solution... also ACP subsidies are about to run out and if they don't renew it will devastate the short term earnings of CHTR going forward since they have lots of customers on ACP. With all the Leverage and Debt they have... we can expect to see some MAJOR damage to stock price going foward if ACP gets cut off... but lets see how things go perhaps the damage anticipated is already priced in right now... They do all these buybacks but they let the Debt to go wild... doesnt make too much sense. Oh the only sense it makes is less damage for an anticipated price crash ahead. Would recommend an update on this stock. If the ACP program doesn't get renewed... they won't be able to get those huge margins going foward either margins will start to collapse with it.

I generally believe known information like the ACP subsidies are priced in by analysts. After CHTR recent earnings the stock has been hit significantly by lower EPS estimates.
So if the subsidies aren’t extended this would certainly kill growth in the short term. But I don’t see this as something that would suddenly make them unprofitable by any means.
I’ve been looking at that stock again and reevaluation about increasing my position.
I’ll see if I get time to do another video. Been very busy with my work and haven’t had a chance to post in the last couple months.

@@balancesheetsmatter Looking forward 2 your update. Make sure you calculate the longterm effect of ACP removal + longterm debt repayment though. idk if ppl have really priced in the ACP subsidy removal fully (longterm) + Debt. THanks!

I appreciate your content. Would you please consider doing an update on CHTR? The price is looking very attractive, and most of the fundamentals look good, but the debt seems concerning. Also, does the outlook for growth concern you?

I just bought in at a position of $277 about 4.5% of my portfolio a nice chunky position. Will it go down Lower? Possibly and Probably but at least I can lock in some nice gains if it goes the other way with a Surprise Good News event. How much lower will the price go? $250's maybe? Maybe $200s? I'll just add more onto my position as then it will be very oversold. I'm not getting too greedy now because I saw Meta go down to $90's and $80s just 2 years ago so I'm not underestimating what negative sentiment the weak earnings ahead might bring.

May I request an analysis of Tapestry (TPR) corporation if you have the time. The company has announced a merger with CPRI a few months ago resulting in a falling stock price. Yet, the P/E seems reasonable and the dividend is over 4%. Thank you.

Can never be sure but I think it’s temporary flat EPS and longer term they will do fine. Might not get back to their previous growth levels though. I’ve been slowly picking up more ✌️

sorry for blowing up ur comments but it will help ur algorithm so not really sorry... You pointed it out yourself the huge interest expenses. So they are buying shares with this huge debt load is just Ludacris. What is their avg interest rate on debt? yea once the earnings get effected this debt pile and interest is going to really cause more pain ahead. and as i stated before one of their best margin strategy is simply price jacking up after the customers 1 year into rate ends. I dont think thats a good way to go in a tightening economy with competitors who dont jack it up as bad as they do this is what fuels their growth jacking up prices ridiculously and they are infamous for it. i dont think they have that luxury as they used to before when times were good.

No problem more discussion the better 👍. Pretty much every telecommunications company carries a relatively heavy debt load. Just an industry standard you need to be comfortable with when investing in any of them. Average interest rate is about 5.3%. A lot of the bonds they issue are extremely long term out to 2060.
