I think he is very traditional, huging someone does not mean that you love and support them. I really like how he handled this, he showed her so much love and support. I watched a show about this woman who was sexually assaulted at a very young age and she created different personalities to escape it. She had multiple personality disorder.
I think this girl stopped growing mentally when the abuse started. It's really sad and I hope she gets help.
