Just lovely Jess. I'm guessing you were one of the wee blondie girls in the photos?! - So cute. Some very precious memories for you. By the callsign N26TH, the Beech single looks a 1966 Beech 35-C33 Debonair, and the twin, a Cessna 320 (would love one of those!), as it has heaps of side windows! You were a very fortunate kid to have a dad who was a pilot to fly his family around the US! What a treat. Down here in NZL, I was the one to fly my 3 kids around the city area for a few flights back in 2009 when I got current again and they were young. That's all lapsed and a distant memory again sadly... Blessings to you and your family, David 🛩🛩🛩
Oh thank you! I am glad you looked up the tail number! I couldn’t quite remember the exact type of aircraft! That is neat that you were able to fly your family as well. I am sure your kiddos will never forget that! Here’s to all the great Dad’s out there! ❤️😁
Started my day off with a huge smile and a tear! Beautiful tribute to your dad! I’ve been without my parents for many years now. They were both of the WWII generation. What an amazing group!!!! I think about them continually…..
Happy Father Day for you Dad, Jess, even tough the Fathers Day here in Brazil is on 2nd Sunday of August. My Dad passed away 23 years ago. He was from Málaga Spain and came to Brazil with 16 yo. I have double nationality.
❤️❤️❤️ because you kept everything so organized! Looking through all the pictures…you took us on so many adventures! Snow, mountains, sand, beaches, rivers…thank you for all that you did for us! ❤️❤️
What a wonderful video ms Jessica, your dad was like mine lucky to have had great dad. I too grew up in aviation my dad & I use to be pilots, both lost health. He passed 44 yrs ago this August, he 56, I was 21 (1980). I miss my dad too he was special sure like yours. -Kenny
@@ladyandtheramp Thanks ms Jessica, I am sure like you, we both miss our dad’s sounds as though you too had great dad. I was very close to my dad. This was hard to watch, but wouldn’t miss it :-). Thanks again.
My father flew The F-4 Phantom in Vietnam he was the main influence on me to get into it as you already knew i work for Delta as a ramp agent who Also does pushback like you do I'm Also a pilot myself i fly the Pilatus PC-12 my dad is still alive and we went flying today we took off Hartsfield-Jackson i did the Take off then i handed The Plane to him to let him fly for a hour he landed the Plane he did pretty dam good i broke a few FAA regulations by doing it but hey its father day and a Vietnam vet
Oh that is so beautiful! I am so happy you were able to fly with him! What great memories! And please tell you Dad, thank you, for her services and sacrifice for our country! ❤️❤️
I lost my father two years ago at 97. He was all things a father should be. In WWII he flew Hellcats for the Navy, he always took us three boys to the Angels and Thunderbirds shows when we could. For his 80th birthday we got a chance get him a ride in a “Warbird” trainer from the era he went through flight school. The pilot was a retired vet and became very respectful when we explained the circumstances and history, long story short the video of the pilot asking Dad if he remembered how to fly, and then telling him your airplane and giving him the controls for a couple of minutes of level flight, watching him transform from an 80 year old man, back into a pilot and realizing how much it meant to him, made it the greatest gift we could ever have given him. Thank you for the tribute to your father, it brought back cherished memories.
Oh wow! I got goosebumps on my arms as I read this. That is absolutely beautiful. So amazing that you were able to see a glimpse of the pilot he used to be when he was 80 years old. What a tremendous father and a great generation he came from. We so appreciate his service to the country. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful memories, this a great video. I often think of my own Dad around this time too, since he was taken so young. Unlike the aviation world, my Dad passed on lots of his driving skills to me from being a fantastic instructor to others. Maybe he is with me while I drive my little trucks in SCS Software simulator games.
My respect for uploading this video. I'm glad to see a Father can transfer so much energy as you display in your video's nowadays. Greetings from The Netherlands ;-)
Beautifully done video Introducing your Father to us. It looks like you have many fond memories from travels taken with the family and Dad flying and you helping out. Have a safe summer !
GOD BLESS YOU JESSICA JI, YOU ARE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE A FATHER LIKE HIM, GOD BLESS HIM AND YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY WITH LOT'S AND LOT'S AND LOT'S OF LOVE, HEALTH, HAPPINESS, SAFETY AND PROSPERITY 🥲🥲🥲🥲🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
A beautiful memorial to your dad. BTW, normally, I would not point out any typos, but I am thinking that for such a special video, you'd want to know about them: Your description line has 2 of them. 'Feel' and 'Fatger.' Totally understandable, considering the subject matter.
Well now it makes sense where you got your interest in aviation from! Those aren't Cessnas, they look like Beechcraft :) Nice tribute to your dad. I didn't get the "aviation bug" from my parents. My dad was gone before I was an adult. I never got the chance to ask him about his thoughts on planes & flying or if he had any experience with it. So I'm not sure how he would feel about my interests today. I do know how my mom felt though. Lets just say there was nothing positive from that corner. I hope to someday meet a woman who shares these interests because up to now its been me only. Nobody even understands what I do for work. People are like, "oh so you're an air traffic controller?" Um no. and I have to explain again how airlines work. LOL
😂😂 well I hope that someone is out there! This industry is fascinating! And I am sorry about your Dad being gone when you were young. That has got to be hard. I wish you all the best! Thank you for your comments!
Dad, looks like you did an excellent job raising your daughter, the Ramp Lady. She certainly knows how to honor your memory. I'm still teary eyed.
Oh thank you 😊
And now it all makes sense ....
😊❤️
Absolutely beautiful. He, and your mom, did a wonderful job. Bless him.
Thank you ❤️
