      @@AStephen your going to freak out man ! I have the bikes almost done the paint is done just clear coat is in a cure state now...I have to add one more coat! It's going to be crazy man....I dont think you have any idea of what these bikes look like and thank you for all your help too...I'm giving you a huge shout out bro when they are done! Cheers!

    Question how does the cable routing work for the bottom bracket do you thread a full housing through one exit to the other and finish the housing to the cable guide?, I would like to hear some insight on how you tackled that problem and where did you get those drill guide stickers

    Why? If you smooth welds you make the frame weaker? What dou yo think how thick the smoothed parts are? (hint: think about paper)

      I never took the welds out ..I just knocked down the high spots. That's why I added evercoat glaze to make it smoother .....

      No...i never went passed the thickness of the welds...i just smoothed out the high spots...and used a metal filler.

      Weld filler no...carbon fiber will....but the intention was just for looks. Thanks for watching!

    Yo sir! That was sick! I've always wanted to do that on my frame but I'm afraid that I might ruin it. What is that putty you used and where did you buy it? I am from the South East and it will be difficult for me to find that but at least can you tell me the chemicals in that putty so I will find the almost the same product.

    It reduce the thickness of weld when smoothing is it still durable?

      I just smoothed out the high welds...I did not get into deep!!

      Yes still very strong and I wrapped it in carbon as well

    Is it natural seeing small crack on a smooth welded frame? What's the reason, tho, I'm not a heavy user.

      No.......call the manufacturer or dealer you bought it from...and go from there. Sometimes you see cracks in paint from having something dropped on it or banged it up by the door or whatever, so its always hard to tell! I have a deal starting soon for my own brand of carbon fiber bike frames and I am doing the paint work on them ...I'll let everyone know when I am starting it up!

      Yup.. a giant defy 5 and woman's avail 5 .... I hand layed her carbon fork... and hand layed my entire bike frame....its in my other video....lol your going to be amazed at the paint jobs ! I have about 2 more weeks and I'll have a video out on both! They are in a cure state now! Stay tuned!

      @@meneldil7604 yea man lol.....the welds are absolutely gone....her bike and mine are smooth. I'm happy with the results... I get asked all the time by my friends if it's a carbon frame! I cant wait to show you guys ! I think everyone is going to freak out!

    From what i understand you have to apply the chemicals in the video and then you can file/sandpaper the joints to your desired smoothness? Is this correct?

      Dont file the welds down...just barely knock the high spots....you dont want to file out the weld....the allmetal will fill it in....that's what you want to make smooth!

    can i use all purpose epoxy?

      No.... west system or around that grade. Use high quality two part epoxy. Don't go cheap. You'll regret it.

      O hell no.... That is junk. Never use that stuff. Always pay good money on good products. Go to a auto paint store and ask for... all metal. Use what I use.

      I used west system 105 in the next video....I used automotive 2 part called metal glaze from evercoat

      @@bgohio4591 it is a two part. Pour it out and mix just a little harder to it...do it quickly...not much time...
