At 3:28, Kenshin Izakaya is great food and good service. 5:50 Pan Pan, you should skip this. It is "Italian", but not worth the time or money. 6:28 North (Lanna) restaurant has excellent food, but it is very pricey. Lunch price is great, and the outdoor dining area is lovely. And on the weekends, they have live vocal/piano jazz. Very nice. 7:45 Nanase Ramen is really really delicious food at very reasonable prices. One of my favorite places. 7:55 Ikuiku bar is the only bar on the street... open to 2am. Nobu, the Japanese owner is very friendly. Of course "girls serve drinks", as is the normal Bangkok way. But it is a nice option if you're on the street late, especially since there is no other option :). 9:16 you are looking at the S33 Compact hotel sign directly ahead (left side of street). This is an excellent, very very affordable real hotel with nice amenities. It is pretty quiet too since it is set back away from the street a good bit. 10:15 is Beverly 33 apartments, offering monthly rentals in a good quality, quiet building. It has a good staff, kind and effective cleaners, and a passable pool and gym on the top floor. 11:16 is Hoja, a "Taiwanese" restaurant. I dunno Taiwanese food, but this place has great food. 12:39 - this is the restaurant attached to a hotel, and it has an extensive Thai menu (where every menu is handmade/written!). The food is excellent, but the place is completely full many times; plan ahead. 13:31 on the alley to the right, before the food mart, there is a Thai/Japanese restaurant which is excellent. It is virtually invisible, so perhaps that is why it is often quiet. But it is definitely worth a visit or two. Beyond this point on Sukhumvit 33 there is nothing of note.

I loved going to Sukhumvit 33 In the past when it was sometimes known as painters street.
Dali club, Monet club, etc were great places to go and chill with a smart looking lady.
Those clubs are all gone now , so I doubt Soi 33 will ever be the same ... very sad

@MaeilBangkok For sure, it will reinvent itself. Soi 33 stood out from the other Sois because of the painter club theme. Now it looks its going to have the same restaurants and hotels as the other Sois.

What is it quiet in Thailand. The airplane tickets are very expensive now. Alll the clubs raised their prices to make for lost revenmu during the pandemic. Visa's are still restrictive.
