In the breakfast club.. when Molly Ringwald does Aly Sheedys makeup.. always used to watch that scene over and over and couldn't figure out why. That's a good asmr clip. You should include it in one of your compilations hehe 😃

@@kvglenn1 It's a gorgeous movie. And, Richard Linklater, the director, has done some amazing stuff. There's a followup movie Before Sunset, which was filmed 9 years later, and in which the characters are 9 years older as they are in real life. And it's amazing as well.
Of course he also did Childhood, which was a movie filmed over 12 years and in which you see all of the characters actually age 12 years and grow up.

@@deanroddey2881 yess I love the before trilogy and it's even more awesome that the first movie is based in an experience Richard Linklater had !! . Also the movie he made that filming lasted 1# years is "boyhood"

The palm reading scene is so tingling for me! And the ASMR fortune telling roleplays in general. Probably it's the power of nostalgia.

I doubt this kind of film ("Before Sunrise") would get made today, unless it was backed by an independent studio. The big studios would rather make brain-busting blockbusters. I don't mind the occasional blockbuster, but they seem to be overkill nowadays. Movies with an actual storyline are seen as not as important.
Hmm... The scene where a man I measuring a girl's face is a bit... Weird to find here. It's from a movie called "sameblod" and that specific part is when the Nazis is categorizing different races... A very uncomfortable and worrying scene in the movie
Why were they categorizing them in different races though?
@@aluraskye to separate other races from the pure Aryan race that they desired. Hence the whole Holocaust. obviously you can’t tell someone’s complete race based off of some simple measurements though.

It's kinda similar to how a lot of horror movies have unintentional ASMR moments, like Lucifer talking through the goat Black Phillip in the movie "The VVitch: A New England Folktale"

The scene that before i know about asmr give tinggles was from the movie Death becomes her, the one with Isabella Rosellini and Meryl Streep in the mansion with the magical pink potion...omg! I love that scene.

Ah yes, Sameblod. Amazing movie, and that scene is indeed some good ASMR, though I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't know what that scene is actually about. Gives me shivers just thinking about it...
What's it about
@@valtersviksus1457 The movie itself is about the Sapmi people up in Northern Scandinavia (this one is set in Sweden) where it depicts the treatment that Sapmi people got during the 1930’s when the Swedish government converted indigenous kids to become “acceptable members of society”.
This particular scene is when the white academic men comes to the school to do a race biology examination on the kids, measuring them (seen in the video) and later in the scene forcing them to get naked so they could be photographed for “studies”. It’s extremely humiliating and is one of many examples of how indigenous people have been treated over the years, especially in Europe between WWI and WWII, and the thoughts and theories that made the holocaust happen in the first place.
It’s a really touching and an amazing movie, I recommend it!

these are wonderful! thank you for these videos, i always love discovering unintentional ASMR -- they're often more effective than intentional ones. if anyone's interested, Carol (2015) and Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) are absolute ASMR treasure troves.

There is also a scene in "Rise: Blood Hunter" that is very ASMR. It's a scene where Sandy is sitting with Arturo next to a fire. There is a ton of spoken word, light crackles from the fire and tingles galore.
