"HEY MAHK" "HEY NOOUHM"
Nawm and Mawk are the best
He's not thinsetting in the proper direction to let air out, per the tiling video that everyone knows about by now
LMAO
With large format tile like that, you should really be using at least 1/8 in spacers for the grout joints. Plus, you skipped the crucial step of determining how to layout and plan your tile
Dude, that's Cam Neely, dude. He's gonna back butter Chelios, dude.
That wood look tile has been around for over 10 years at least in the DFW area. How many years ago was this video made?
I hear you. It’s been in DTW for 10 years as well. I guess it takes a “why-ll tuh may-kit ooo-all da wayyy to Bah-stahn!”m
@@iekoom I dunno -- seems Texas is the final resting place for anything innovative. I moved from very RURAL Illinois to TX at parental demand in 1970 ago, and the univ. town residents in S. TX had never heard of miniskirts, just to give you an idea. LOL
@@safepethaven Conservative does mean averse to change or innovation in the dictionary. It takes all types of people to make life interesting.
@SafePet Haven
This video was made 10 years ago.
Well no one ever said it was new.
And Norn is not a tile guy.
Tile on steps there's going to be trouble later.
Wondering your thoughts? Cracking or slips?
@@bobwhelk2117
On wood steps it’s going to be popped tiles and joints. Will look nice but won’t last too long.
Holly Jesus. I thought norm was dead. Nice to see your still kicking it bro!
He's retired and enjoying his family.
This video is from an old episode....
Why’d you think he was dead? He’s only like 70
Should of used a ditra underlayment.
LMAO
Tile stairs is a death trap
Is the tile edge on the stairs sealed somehow?
Of course, with grout.
@@tinytim9453 Will grout seal the exposed, ground, unglazed edge of the tile that's used as the "bull nose"? That's what I was wondering about.
@@jptrainor I was wondering the same. I think the porous material on the inside of the tile is uncleanable once dirt gets smeared into it.
for several seconds, staring at the thumbnail, i thought norm was wearing a suit. i was so confused! ohhh, not a hanky, just the floor behind him. 🤦
Piece a pwarsslin
Floor is hideous
We’ve had those tiles in Europe for years. They are great for hallways etc.
Hi, good
That tile is installed incorrectly. The trowel marks are wrong. Should be straight and orthogonal to the long side of the tile.
And The Grout should be Sanded on a tile floor..
Un Sanded Grout is for the walls Something isn't right here if this install is in a Mud Room why in the world would he use Un Sanded Grout ?? it actually Defeats the Purpose of Grouting at All Especially when it's incorrect. Those Tiles Are Going to Crack Eventually with Water from outside is going to get inbetween the joints and loosen up the Thinset. They Need a New Tile Installer.
The most tricky part, the stairs, is what they don't show...
Not going to be easy replacing cracked tile on the staircase.
MAHK
👍👌😲
🥃😎👍🏻🍺
🙅🏻
Why would you use " un-Sanded Grout " on the Floor ? You Have to use Sanded Grout on the Floor that's what Prevents the Water from your shoes getting into the grout.
Un Sanded is used on the Walls.. i Don't trust that installation.
Always a treat to see you, Norm! 👍😎🇨🇦
A video is worthless if you start a project but not finish it..
