I have a Lenovo laptop and the built-in network card picks up a very weak signal from my router. I had to buy an external EDUP wifi card. My internet works well now.

Laptops have wifi connection function. But you will need wifi router/modem plus internet provider to connect to internet.

I have an lenovo ideapad 3 since June last year. Battery died after 13 months. Warranty for battery only 12 months. Lenovo is a scam.

Unfortunately many laptop batteries seem to only last a few years and sometimes they will only last about a year. I also have had a laptop battery go bad in less then a year. Sometimes you just get a bad laptop battery that comes off the assembly line. Normally you can get around 1,000 charge cycles from a laptop battery before it goes bad.
