Haki is an extension of the characters' power, it reflects their abilities, so Shanks's Haki focus should be entirely on the sword. If Shanks gets out of that framework and is someone more mixed then he in a general concept if he can be stronger than Mihawk.

In Big Mom's case it's different because she doesn't fall into a total swordsman category like Mihawk, she uses a lot of elemental Homies, she doesn't mind fighting with her fists. If you think zoro would be happy walking around the world calling himself the worlds strongest swordsman, while other people who use swords walk around and are stronger but just don’t “call themself a swordsman” you have severely misread and misunderstood zoro’s entire character
I think it's equal imo even though shanks has 1 arm it just doesn't make sense for me for Luffy's opponent to be weaker than Zoro's opponent.

It's tough. Shanks prob uses legs, guns, punches etc and not just swordsmanship. So if only using sword, Mihawk, but if using full arsenal the fight may be more balanced.

Great video but to add to it the reason why miwhak was not able to cut jozu is because the swordman cut what he wants as he did not have intention to cut Dimond as he attacked luffy Mr 1 was able to blocked because he did not want to cut iron but when he attacked Mr 1 he cut him easily .

Lmao Oda needed to nerf my man Shanks cause he way too strong. Mihawk been a swordman for quite some time before Shanks became one. But Shanks is so talented he caught up to him and became his rival. So Oda nerfed him taking away his dominant arm so that Mihawk could be the strongest swordsman and be Zoro's end game. But even after nerfing my guy Shanks, he still is a beast honing his haki to an extent that no one have seen before that even an admiral revert back to his original form after he felt that haki. And with only one arm the marines compared his skills to Mihawk, imagine that, with only one arm.
