La fortezza medicea potrebbe essere tenuta meglio, purtroppo la sua gestione non dipende dalle autorità locali ma è sotto il ministero delle belle arti e poiché Pistoia non è una città con molto turismo i nostri governanti si disinteressano
this is my standard procedure with you: first i put the thumbs up, than i comment saying that you are the best and in the end i see the video, which i will love for sure
It's so fun to explore with you!!!!! I enjoy sooooo much watching your videos!!!!! You are so amazing!!!!! Thank you so much for all the joy you bring us!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Aww we're sorry to hear it 😢 Italian cities can be so different depending on the season / day of the week / time of day, sometimes you never know what you're going to get!
Quick question. I noticed you use a drone sometimes. Do you need some sort of permission before flying. When I fly mine in the states, I need to obtain local FAA approval. We go to Luca a lot but never went to Pistoia. We will this time.
As usual lots of fantastic information and funny, you guys are the best even when uou run out of things to say lol!! loved seeing you walk around the castle by yourselves, and enjoyed seeing the quiet of the town in October ❤ fantastic video , you made my day!!!
So many beautiful cities in Tuscany, you guys definitely should be taking your time and enjoying every inch. Really makes us want to go back to Italy. Thank you so much for being us on your adventures! The breakfast sounds so simple but it looked so good😋😋 definitely take the time to sit in the cafes
Happy new year you two - buon anno! Missed you. That train thing is a drag. It was nicer when you didn't have to worry about validating the digital tickets - that was the best part. It's a recent change, so maybe the train agents are doing a "grace period" but that's wishful thinking I guess.
Oh, Micha. Don't ignore those story boards all written in Italian. Read them to us! It could be worth a pizza 😅. Thanks for filming the cats. Very cute.
Hey so good to see you two again! Happy New Year! Oh Matteo you had me in stitches with your declaration of being done with bell towers and churches😂😂😂. Thanks for the tour. It does look like a little quaint town to check out.
The readon to validate the ticket is just that you can take every train that goes to the same place , so you need to validate the ticket in order to attest you took only one train , and no reusee the ticket.
We visited Pistoia back in 2008, it was our first Tuscan city, it was July so middle of summer, the main piazza was being closed for an evening music festival, the town was full of people, noisy, effervescent with activities, a total contrast with what you guys experienced.
We own an apartment in Pistoia and love it. I can tell you it's certainly a quiet town. Many traders close through the middle of the day because they don't have the tourist traffic such as towns like Lucca or Pisa. On Wednesday's and Saturdays however, the town is packed as there is a flea market which is spread through the town's historic centre. In the evening, Piazza Della Sala is packed with locals and tourists dining out at the many restaurants in the alley ways. For any considering visiting, make sure that you hang around in the evening and experience the lively Piazza Della Sala. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Just make sure you do your research before visiting so you don't miss out.

Avreste dovuto informarvi un po’ di più presso l’ufficio turistico avete omesso troppe cose, questa città e ‘ piccola ma piena di arte
Excellent move with the train ticket. I have lived in Italy for 30 years and I just learned something new thanks to you!

I visited Pistoia on a Monday and EVERYthing was closed. Apparently this is normal. It was a very pretty old city however.
Aww we're sorry to hear it 😢 Italian cities can be so different depending on the season / day of the week / time of day, sometimes you never know what you're going to get!
I love off the beaten track places with little or now tourists. You are the bell tower experts it seems.
