You would have trouble firing the guns, the magazines are in the guns the wrong way round, they should curve to the front, not the rear

Thanks, exact issues I found. As a novice, that was encouraging.

I built the Flak 37 from Trumpeter. Compared to the Flak 38 it's a breeze as far as PE is concerned. Your video has inspired me to tackle the 38 albeit with trepidation.

Nice one Sim 👍. I would still recommend metal cannon tubes from RB Model. But all in all its a good looking kit. Have a nice Weekend. Ben

Nice kit and video, but the gun sight is incorrect for this Flak gun...the Bronko one is incorrect as well, weird as I have that kit. Thanks for posting.

    Ummmmmmmmm .......
Sin, brother, I hate to point this out but you have the ammo mags in backwards. The curved side points forward when in the gun. And one other small item...... you've got the Gunner's shield backwards and the two little doors go on the front or flat face. Just thought you would want to know that now instead of later.
I'm really impressed with the P/E work you've done on this. I wish I was half as good as you are doing P/E. I've got the same Flak 37 kit and I'm going to try and do the P/E gunshields and soder them. For anyone who doesn't do the gun shields , it's fine. They're removable and we're often taken off, especially when in a confined space. This goes for both of your kits. I'm using mine in the back of an Italiari SwS kit. The one with the Goliath and crew. They don't give you the top section of the cab wall. I found a photo of one just like that with the Flak 37 in the back.

Simon Kemp. Models. That would be great. I'm really interested in learning how to do it. Don't forget to fix the gunner's shield. The flat side faces forward.

The AFV model has brass barrels. The best way to do the shields is to roll them on a small metal tube.

  • @CaptainBax

Simon try a soft A4 mouse pad and a piece of dowel of the right size (maybe 10mm) to put the curve in the PE.
Note : The more you roll it, the more of a curve you will put in to the PE ... so care must be taken not to over do it. Same does with the size of dowel being used, the smaller it is the tighter the bend.

Great kit Simon, it should look awesome when complete on the flatbed truck. If you aren't going to use the trailers from the guns, could I perhaps purchase them from you?

No crew? What do you do for a gun crew? Does Trumpeter sell a crew separately?
