- We are approaching the heart of tornado season, and so far: it has not disappointed. With this past Friday and Sunday being as widespread as it has been, we look towards the future to see what else Mother Nature has to offer.....
I do live weather analysis as well as forecasts for mainly the USA, so feel free to ask questions about any weather activity and weather near you. I am committed to providing accurate information and keeping people safe. I also am human, so I'll be the first to admit that I am not perfect. @@Flatlander94 me too! I see you're from Arkansas. I saw a storm there on vacation years ago and it was intense! I'm from Indianapolis (37 years old) and I swear our storms don't get that scary! 😆 Storms in the Ozarks are horrifying Imo.

According to NWS information (Storm Prediction Center), there are no 1-5 ratings for the Day 4-8 forecasts. There is only a 15 percent or 30 percent chance of severe storms. 30 percent is the most severe forecast.
But if you were to compare a 30% to the day 1-3: It would be a 3/5, no? I guess i over simplified it, but it's practically the same thing.
