Hey! Cool setup :) what sound source are you using with your BL5's? I'm interested in connect a pair of BL5's to a non B&O tv, and still be able to stream music and play the sound from my tv. Any suggestions on this?
Hi. I'm using a Marantz pre-amp as main source (with Spotify, airplay for streaming.) All of my other sources, (TV, Blu ray, mac, etc) are connected to this pre-amp. My BL5's are connected by RCA (line in) and this works perfect. This way I have volume controle on the pre-amp and not on the BL5's. So if I were you, and you'd want to hook up a tv to your speakers, I'd put a pre-amp in between. Which one depends on what you want to connect to it, 4k, HDMI, and how many speakers you want to connect (dolby surround or just stereo)The most easy way to connect your BL5's to your TV is by headphone jack-->line in. But I would not recommend it.
This sounds like great setup! Do you remember the model name of your Marantz pre-amp? And one other thing, does it have the trigger signal, or does the speaker stay on at all times? Thanks for the help! Much appreciated
SR6010 (it's both preamp as amplifier so you can connect surround speakers etc). and no it does not have the trigger signal.... But you can program a harmony remote to turn on your speakers and pre-amp at the same time. Works perfect for me.

Thank you very much! I see that the latest version of SR6010 actually does have a 12v trigger outlet. So this is very interesting.
