Sikkim flood: 9 dead, 1,500 tourists stranded; restoration of road communications to take one week

Massive landslides triggered by flash floods have killed at least one and left over 1,500-odd tourists stranded in the Indian state of Sikkim's Mangan district. At least three are reportedly missing as incessant rainfall continues to wreak havoc in the north-eastern state.
