I kinda like how they did the proximity unblockable on chris, if they bring them back and make all of them a guard break instead it's gonna make a bunch of characters more interesting
Big Trouble in Little China is probably my favorite movie of all time, and I would 100% recommend a re-watch. It holds up. Also definitely not what I thought of when I saw the new Goenitz-style costumes, haha
I have a theory about O. Yashiro: previously he had no specials that connected if the opponent was in the air in any capacity (something that every grappler has now). Given that Shatter Strike, wall-splats, etc are things, I think they gave him some new variants on his specials to accommodate for the new mechanics. O. Shermie's flip kick doesn't appear to be a hard knockdown anymore., which greatly reduces her zoning / oki game, but does enable her to combo a super after it. Not sure if the tradeoff is worth it, but we'll see. One more thing about O. Shermie: I noticed a bit of dust kick-up during her new kick, which may imply that it's a dash attack. If so, that'd be a really strange thing for a zoner to have, but it's certainly better than the move that it's likely replacing. I was going to mention O. Chris' EX appearing to be a guardbreak, but your editor caught it. 👍 Nicely done overview; and thanks for the shoutout, by the way (this is GP)!
