The charm of siargao is because it's not like the other tourist destinations. It stands on its own as an island destination with that "true island vibe" I hope it stays that way and I hope no big international hotels will be built there. They only destroy the island vibes and local culture in Siargao.

First time seeing a place in Philippines where there are so many western tourist and that is so nice for this place! I wish anywhere in Philippines is as common as this place for western tourist to go to so that Philippines may eventually become also a really known and popular tourist country like others in Asia. The fact that there are so many of them in that province means it's also a very safe town for them unlike the capital city...

When I was in General luna, it was almost like I am nk longer in the philippines. Where ever you look, you always see western tourists. Ahaha.. anyways, I love it. Will be back soon. This time, I will not miss the chance to surf! Ahahah
Siargao is already beautiful a paradise nature. There should be no tall buildings be built in that area because more people or tourist prefer to be with the nàture. Philippines is islands nation. If tourist like most developed and expensive island resort then they can try Amanpulo and others here in the Philippines. Siargao must remain so. Maybe hospital should be well developed. Just saying
I agree with developing the Hospital! That has to be a must! Since so many tourists go there. If in case of an emergency, they should be able to administer all kinds of treatment. Especially immediate and life saving ones. Cuz Manila is so far away from the island!
I really hope tourism here would be sustainable. Development with the environment and local community in mind should be the first priority. Growth for the sake of growth is called cancer.
even there were serious accidents on tourism road, the local government is doing nothing about it. it is to dangerous to walk, the sidewalk is used for parking and restaurants putting up there tables.
Walk against the Traffic 0:22 !! You dont want any Vehicle hitting you from Behind ! so you should always be aware accidents can happen. Walking against the Traffic gives you a chance, an edge to avoid an accident. Enjoy your time travelers 🧳 ! 😊
The locals, are layed back, and there so (attractive) and reserved, they do t need to expose there body's and find the tourists a little ugly , so be respectfully and cover up in town, thank you.
The local government should start to protect and improve the location. There are a lot of stray dogs that the government should taken care of that. A hospital, police station and a Fire station should be built. The government should improve on the drainage because there are paddles of water here and there… and where are the police visibility for safety of the tourists and peace and order.

I wish anywhere in Philippines is as common as this place for western tourist to go to so that Philippines may eventually become also a really known and popular tourist country like others in Asia. The fact that there are so many of them in that province means it's also a very safe town for them unlike the capital city...

Siargao is already beautiful a paradise nature. There should be no tall buildings be built in that area because more people or tourist prefer to be with the nàture. Philippines is islands nation. If tourist like most developed and expensive island resort then they can try Amanpulo and others here in the Philippines. Siargao must remain so. Maybe hospital should be well developed. Just saying

I agree with developing the Hospital! That has to be a must! Since so many tourists go there. If in case of an emergency, they should be able to administer all kinds of treatment. Especially immediate and life saving ones. Cuz Manila is so far away from the island!

the sidewalks and roadways in Siargao needs to be improved for the safety of the local folks and tourists..
even there were serious accidents on tourism road, the local government is doing nothing about it. it is to dangerous to walk, the sidewalk is used for parking and restaurants putting up there tables.

Walk against the Traffic 0:22 !! You dont want any Vehicle hitting you from Behind ! so you should always be aware accidents can happen. Walking against the Traffic gives you a chance, an edge to avoid an accident. Enjoy your time travelers 🧳 ! 😊
The locals, are layed back, and there so (attractive) and reserved, they do t need to expose there body's and find the tourists a little ugly , so be respectfully and cover up in town, thank you.
Philippines is the best ever to visit.
The local government should start to protect and improve the location. There are a lot of stray dogs that the government should taken care of that. A hospital, police station and a Fire station should be built. The government should improve on the drainage because there are paddles of water here and there… and where are the police visibility for safety of the tourists and peace and order.
