- Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac, is widely regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop artists of all time. He started his career in 1990 as a member of the group Digital Underground, before going solo with his debut album "2Pacalypse Now" released in 1991.
Throughout the 1990s, Tupac became known for his politically-charged lyrics and confrontational style. He released several successful albums, including "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z..." and "All Eyez on Me," which is considered to be one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
During this time, Tupac also became involved in some high-profile controversies, including his feud with East Coast rapper Notorious B.I.G. and accusations of sexual assault, for which he was later acquitted in court.
Unfortunately, Tupac's life was tragically cut short when he was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996, at the age of 25. Despite his short career, Tupac's influence on hip-hop and popular culture has continued to this day, cementing his status as a legend in the industry.
