Lucanis's comment on why The Crows don't work in Ferelden any more made me laugh. In my "Canon" playthrough of DAO, My Warden romanced Zevran, so I can see how other Crows could see him falling in love with his target might be considered as "embarrasing" 😂
Yesss. I thought it was hysterical! My warden always romances Zevran. I can never resist him. Though I did romance Morrigan once! I loved it. But I always go back to Zevran. Having this little reference was wonderful. I had a damn good laugh when I heard it.
I mean, there is that, and the fact that he betrayed his employer, turned on him, and tried to kill him if you don't manage to convince the Landsmeet to do it peacefully.
I think this also explains why the Crows are the way they are in veilguard, given if Zevran is alive then he went one many army and started to clean up the Crows more...unsavory aspects until only the four we meet are left to lead.

Huh. I have to hand it to the respective voice actors: no idea what their original accents are, but when Zevran and Lucanis both say 'Fereldan', it sounds exactly alike. No idea why that detail stuck out to me so much, but it's cool.

I'm so glad they fixed the companion banter in this game after how infrequent it was in Inquisition.
It was infrequent cuz of a bug they just never fixed apparently from what I read at least.
I had to install a mode on dragon age inquisitions just to be sure the banters would activate every 15 minutes. 😢

It is similar to DAO and DAII now where specific areas will trigger a banter.
