I came to the realization that Joe is overall the worse person to interview because questions put him in defense mode naturally and once Joe reach defense mode he speaks in riddles and analogies. It's a survival move to prevent self from being vulnerable and exposed. That's every interview with him is like that a face off. You gotta just hold conversation with Joe and lose the interview format and pick a topic and build from there. Be all over the place with with no structure and watch Joe open up.

People often speak of Joe using semantics during conversations. We need to understand that Joe is in control of what he wants to put into the atmosphere. Glad to see you guys are back on and had Joe Budden on there. Glad to see Joe is still Joe and he answered the questions that Flip answered. Some of the situations Joe was in i heard about but he was able to answer it with no hesitation.To me Joe is super underrated as a lyricist from all the albums and the Mood Music mixtapes classics. Him and Flip have great chemistry they are hilarious. Glad to the podcast is back on. Interested to see who they are going to have on their podcast now.

Condescending people want to be seen as the smartest person in the room and act out in such way to stroke their own ego. It's a method of defense throughout this interview that Joe uses when his intellect is questioned to remain dominant.

This was a great discussion, despite what you may think about Joe, he is an interesting individual.
He is definitely right about not letting people play with your word's, people are too quick to answer instead of thinking before they speak, and they take people doing that as being insincere or a manipulater.
He constantly plays with peoples words. And he plays with his own words by saying something then acting like he didn’t say it and gaslighting people when they bring up his past statements.
