Oh wow what absolutely stunning results!
The colors are SO vibrant and all the little details come right though too… soooo cool!
Definitely need to try this - must be so exciting when you’re using the hammer and slowly but surely the prints start to appear. Right now I have some hydrangea, roses, chocolate mint and maybe a few daisies I can experiment with. Can’t wait!
Thanks so much for the inspiration Ker! (and Marion!) Sophia is QUITE pleased that you and Bitsy have suggested extra treats for all pups today! 🐶✨✨💕

You have lots of great possibilities !! It'll be interesting to see what the daisies do, since they're white, I wonder if the petals will leave an outline of some sort? 🤔🌼 I'm anxious to try fall-colored leaves. I tried a few when I made this video but most of our leaves haven't changed or fallen yet. I did find one but it was pretty dried already. The part where it was still "fresh" did leave a slight impression, so I'm thinking if the leaves are fresh enough, they'll work great.
YAY!! For Sophia!! Bits is jealous of all the walks you two go on together, lol. (Too many loose dogs in our 'hood to take here safely. So she has to ride in her Tail Wagon...it's better than not going AND, BONUS: we can pick freebies up from the library when we find them, hahahahah! 🛒📚)

The flowers look like "black eyed susan", even though they have a light center and not a dark center. The leaves also look like that flower family. Thank you for sharing. This looks like fun. Enjoy the day! Catherine

Thank you so much, there's a Black-eyed Susan pretty near that plant...and they are close, for sure!

😍LOVE IT! 😍I think those yellow flowers might be golden butterfly daisies.

I was so excited bc you're right the flowers look exactly like golden butterfly daisies (I looked them up, never heard of them before) but the leaves are completely different and the GBD's are short, mostly potted plants like mums this time of year. My flowers have fairly large leaves that look nothing like the GBD's leaves and it's huge, about 4.5-5 foot high...so I think the jury is still out.
Dang. I was hoping you had solved my mystery.
It's been HOURS and HOURS and MUCH has happened since I watched your video and I'm still thinking about your Witchy Journal and the Edgar Box, lol. 🖤

So very cool! I tried this with paper a few years ago and it was...meh 😅
I love how crisp the flowers turned out and the detail in the leaves are something else!
I'll definitely have to try now that spring is Herr and flowers are blooming everywhere
Also noticed the leafy butterfly wings in the last shot 😊😅
You can't escape them Ker 😅❤

Hahahahah UGH!!! Certainly not on purpose, but YOU know that, lol 🦋🤬😂 I'll be cutting those apart, so as not to leave any wrong impressions (like perhaps I've softened on the whole idea 😂 which I have NOT 🙃)
YES!! It's the PERFECT time for you to do this! I was amazed how well it came out and how easy it was (a bit time intensive, but therapeutic !!) How wonderful to gather up goodies from your very own gardens 🌿🌱🌷🌺🌻🌼🍃

You are the queen of new ideas, I love it so much. I didn't get to do a garden this year so I did lots of flowers in my yard. I can't wait to try this. Thank you Ker, can't wait to see the leaves. Hugs.

Awww thank you so kindly! Though, this is NOT my idea (nor is it new, lol) I am just way late for the party, lol.
Ohhhh big fun you'll have loads of great results with your summer flowers.
So far the leaves aren't a huge hurrah, though, by total accident, I did find some "success", stay tuned 💜
Hope all is well with you. I see you've been posting more lately, I hope that means you're feeling fabulous and are craft-craft-crafting away. I hope to get caught up on my watching.
I did three videos yesterday (posted to Patreon, the Crabby Crafter Clubhouse and to the regular channel...) so my "watch time" is significantly, well, it's about non-existent 😂

      OHHHH Absolutely!! Very therapeutic indeed!!
I did feel bad for the flowers. The first phlox I did I only picked the ones that had already fallen to the ground as I didn't want to sacrifice any of the others. But after seeing how beautifully they came out, it as game on. I figure I've given them "eternal life" 👻

Well, you know, turn-about is fair play 🤬 I get to look at their trash for weeks on end, listen to their out-of-control kids scream and/or cry all day, every day...tip 'o the iceberg. I could pound 24/7 for six months straight and STILL not be "caught up" 😂🤣😂😈
I love how these came out, puts all the other methods I've tried to shame. And SO simple!
Always good to see you, hope you're enjoying this extended summer. Seems the unrelenting sunshine is going to last through Thanks-F-ing-Giving 🙄🥸

TODAY is gloriously GREY and there's between a 30% and 80!!% chance of rains some time: WOOOHOOO! That's infinitely better than the unrelenting sunshine and heat. I'll take it, rain or not (but the rain would be SO awesome!!!)

Ohhh yes!! Do go find some blooms (I tried to get ones that were on the ground, as I have a guilty conscience, lol) and hammer away. I tried some fall leaves and they were too dry already, though that's no reason to stop trying, lol.
AWWWWW, PJ what a sweetheart, Bitsy has a crush!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍 (so do I, hahhahah!) I've sent your Short to everyone I know to brighten their day. It's a huge it 🐾❣

Its too late for me except for greenery and roses. But you got stunning results! maybe marigolds and begonias if they bloom soon, there are buds. Very exciting! Did u try ironing them? does heat setting change color? I guess I will find out next year. Thanks for making this video! 💜💜💜💜

    • @TheCrabbyCrafterlol
      @TheCrabbyCrafterlol  Месяц назад

So greenery and roses it is!!! They'd make great candidates LOTS of color. Just do the rose petals, that would make a cool pattern. I did not iron them...but I may just do that. Seems like a good idea 🤔
