The amount of work you are putting into saving and repairing these old panels is incredible! Hats off to you for really putting in the work, and not just buying repop steel.
Bruhhhhh You killed it!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 You broke the complex piece down into steps and made it look easy... Enjoyed the video as always bro!!! Excited for the next one!!!!
I am now a fanboy 😁 bro I like all your work and I learn a lot, this is my dream to build a car someday. you inspired me thankyou so much 🤟🤟🤟 love from Philippines🇵🇭
I think you have done a hell of a job on the truck, taking from what is was to now, is 110% better, I like its not a normal short bed. it's a awesome looking truck and great job. if people are negative about it then they have never had a vision and capable of doing it themselves. it's outstanding and a very cool looking truck. I get negative comments about my 1985 C10 on a 2009 police crown vic , so I just put the 85 C10 body on the 2008 P71 crown vic. it's never been done before and I'm the 1st to do it with a 85 chevy C10, everyone who does the crown vic swap, it's mostly done with a f150 Ford truck not a chevy truck. I still have a litle bit to go to have it on the road. I'm going to do my fenders like yours, I love the look of it and is a clean way to do it and not just mount plastic ones.. keep doing what your doing because it looks great.
Thank you very much for the kind words! Sounds like you have a sweet project on the go🤙 keep up the great work and it will definitely be cool to see a c10 on a crown vic chassis. Lots of work!
Really cool truck and concept. So I also like Ken blocks ford truck. I first saw his drifting video in that truck and had a similar vision of a c10 version in my mind. Really cool seeing you build that. I have quite a few old trucks and I agree they’re too nice to cut up and go to this level. Really wise starting with what you did to avoid that feeling of ruining something. I am just getting to point in life where I can do things truly how I want and without feeling rushed. Good job taking your time and thank you for sharing the journey through video
you can do it, I had no experience of doing any of this and I just went for it and done a crown vic swap with my 1985 C-10 truck, yes people have done the same thing but with F150 and F100, I think I'm the 1st to do it to a 1985 C-10 square body, im going to do the fenders like his, I like the look of it. I was going to just put plastic ones on but his look better.
Keep it up just binge watch like 10 videos i feel excited for you, i hope to one day build my dream car still have to learn to do a couple things before tho, like welding and structure integrity... can't wait to see what's next, happy new year to you all.
Happy New Year to you as well! Hope you start on your dream car this year🤙 thank you very much, it's super exciting to see how the truck is taking shape. Lots more content to come for you guys!
I'm sure you can do it, I didn't have a link of experience of doing something like this but I just went for it, I crown vic swap my 1985 chevy C-10. I just did it one step at a time. been working on it for about 2 years and 90% complete. yea a lot of people have done a crown vic swap but with F150 trucks, I think I'm the 1st to do a 1985 C-10 square body. so if I can do that with no experience but RUclips then I'm sure you can do your project.
Hey Man, Just Want To Wish You and The Maestro *Merry Christmas* and a Prospero Ano Nuevo! Also congrats on picking up subscribers......You've made these videos almost like woodworking or jewelry making. The viewer can almost run their hand down the body and feel the work...naturally after it's cooled...I've burned the F* out of myself in welding shops before!!!
Nice truck brother. Lots of work and thought has gone into it so far. Not sure if you've already got turbos lined up for your build yet but check out True North Turbos out of Edmonton, Alberta... associated company is Black Sherp Industries. Companies are part owned by Kyle from Boosted Lifestyle on YT out of Fort Mac, Alb. Really good affordable turbos and BOVs and Vbands too.
Glad you found the channel but definitely not the best day for the automotive community 😔 thank you! I hope to make this truck as great as possible with Ken being a big inspiration
Does anyone know if the c10 or c1500 (gmc) body panels are the same styling? I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on a 70 c1500 gmc that’s original. I can’t tell if they are the same panel’s or if I’d need to swap the c10 panels to get a similar look. I feel like the GMC hood is a little taller but I’m not sure.
The amount of work you are putting into saving and repairing these old panels is incredible! Hats off to you for really putting in the work, and not just buying repop steel.
Thanks man! They're fun to repair and buying everything new would add up to a crazy expensive total.
Your commitment to this project is 2nd to none. Way to go!
Definitely a commitment! It's what I love to do so it's pretty easy to stay committed 👍
A replacement hood would be Taiwan crap. You are doing the smart thing. Excellent job!
Exactly! Thank you👍
Bruhhhhh You killed it!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 You broke the complex piece down into steps and made it look easy... Enjoyed the video as always bro!!! Excited for the next one!!!!

Thank you very much man🤙 wish I could help but got too much on the go😂

Thank you man! I'll definitely check out those turbos! I had never heard of them, appreciate it bro👍
i think a satin finish would look tough! it would be a good compromise because it would still have a clean look without making it too “show car”
That's a good thought, I don't want to make it seem like a show car. It's going to get driven and used🤙I'm leaning toward white with satin finishes
Not so much body work but the mechanics part, like suspension travel, axles and what works, and motor mechanics
I wish I lived in the area. I would like to learn
What gauge steel do you use for all the body patching.
It's a badass build it needs a loud paint job lime green orange something what are your plans on a color
Would be cool! Time will tell I guess🤔
so sick!
Thank you man!
What did you use to take all the paint off/down
CMA paint remover and then a sanding pad
My question here is, did the shop that did the work charge you for it?
I did all the work myself lol, so it was cheap labour
What primer you use after coating the rust
It was just a basic automotive primer I had for metal! I forgot the name of it.
I found out about this page the same day that ken block died ... hope this truck really surpasses his
Glad you found the channel but definitely not the best day for the automotive community 😔 thank you! I hope to make this truck as great as possible with Ken being a big inspiration
Hey I have a question where could I find most of the glass gaskets at for 67-72 trucks at?
Ps this is open to anyone the more answers the better
I'm not 100% sure, it depends where you are. I'll probably have to buy some too but not at that point yet
Lesss goooooo
Hell yeah!!!🤙🤙🤙

They are the same as long as they are the same year. They have different grills but can be changed👍 the hoods differ from the year 67-68 to 69-72
Can you make a hood scoop an finder flares like that for 2005 Silverado
I don't do work for customers unfortunately, I just don't have the time. It would look cool though!
@@ag_trucks that's the kinda finder flares I imagined to put on my truck I want to 50s 15/10 center line or m/t 5 Star. The old look hood is 1000$
@@ag_trucks I can get the stupid hood scoop for 300
Why did you use a crown vic suspension Why not a camero
Mainly because of budget. But crown vic crossmember is light and there's a lot of aftermarket parts available.
👏👏👏🤝🇧🇷
Yeh bro paint it make it look new again i realy hate patina or rust as i see it
Hard to beat a nice paint job!
it's the skills that pay the bills great work
Thank you very much🤙
