That ending though! I thought it looked hella uncomfortable to walk/stand on the support beams like that. What a lot of amazing work you guys have done, and the results look incredible!
@TheIslandHomestead Awesome thank you! I was wondering which lava zone you purchased in and did you finance or pay in full for your home? Do you pay an HOA? What's the crime like in your area? Mahalo nui loa!
@Amandamaui71 We bought the land with cash. Our lava zone is 3. We haven't financed anything as we are building off grid and loans for that are funky. We don't have a HOA. Crime is everywhere to some degree, but it's mostly petty theft and dumping. Don't leave valuables visible in your parked car, anywhere. There's also some meth related crime from time to time, but they travel, so there's no escaping that.
The old power walls were not made for full off grid however the new ones are much improved. There is less expensive options out there. Most of power walls benefits relate to grid tie / auto bidder
@adamd5013 You're absolutely correct, but my wife is a project manager for a solar installation company, so you take what the employee discount gives you! So far so good, we've been using the solar for a few months, and we never want for power!

I'm not too proud to say that REALLY HURT!
Oh shoot! You're doing it FOR REAL! 🎉
Yeah, and the state of my lower back is proof!
I wish I could move back miss it so much
It's a special place, that's for sure!
Ouch!!! But your house is going to be AMAZING!!!
If I can ever finish it! 😆
