i have to give you kudos. luckily i stumbled across your video. i recently purchased the brand new ms surface pro 11 elite. however i didnt want to pay the ridiculous $750 AUD that Microsoft wants for their flex bluetooth keyboard. it was stupidly expensive.. i found this video and based on your review i made a decision to give this a try. $125 AUD from amazon. Great buy. Great quality. Solid keyboard and bonus allows me to use my full size MS pen. I hate the slim pen. I can slot my full size pen into the holder. great product. Only complaint is the mouse pad i do like the clicky click tactile feel. But its not a huge issue. just reprogramming the brain to double tap instead. saved me 600 dollars. brilliant
Thanks for your review. I've had my Pelican keyboard for about 6 months and ran into an issue where it suddenly stopped charging. Upon hearing a clicking noise, I pried apart the fabric and discovered that the very thin and brittle wire connection between the charging port and the rest of the keyboard had completely severed (right where there is only soft fabric and nothing to brace it it). Was wondering if this was something you'd run into or if another third-party keyboard with the charging port in a different location might dodge the problem. Thanks in advance!
Hey, nice video. I wanna buy this keyboard and also get some custom stickers from Etsy for it (they sell sticker the size of the original surface keyboard's keys). What would you say it's the size difference of the keys compared to the original one?
They should be almost the same size if not but I haven't measured but when eyeballing it looks very close.. let me know if you do it and post it on the surface subreddit 👍

No the slim pen is too wide I think..I don't have one to test though
