Same here dude. They were at Rescue Rooms in England for this album, which happened to land on my birthday. Hot Hot Heat, drinks, katy and the rest is unmentionable. A night ill never forget.
@@hankmoody5514 we were just young and carefree. The kids might like these early-mid 2000’s songs, but they’ll feel the same about their music in 20 years. It’s tough to not be the “music now isn’t the same” but really it’s just hip-hop that’s changed, dumbed down. There’s still good indie rock rock out there. I mean Greta Van Fleet was basically Led Zeppelin for kids who weren’t exposed to their parents music..
But those fucking indie, cut off skinny jeans and long hair really made it seem like we were on the verge of neo-hippie movement. Too bad we grew up too fast
We had to pay rent, and bills, where our hippie parents bought a 5 bedroom house with a loan that they paid off in 5 years, and now the home is worth almost $800,000. The hippies sold out, but their music was great
I would listen to this song when I was a teenager. Years went by and I forgot about it until a few months ago I had a flash back of the music video. I couldn't remember the band or the name of the song, I even couldn't remember how the song went. I thought I would never find it again. Then one random search on RUclips when I was drunk and listening to songs I haven't heard for 15 years I find it. I'm 30 now but I listen to this and I'm 15 again. Crazy how time passes by but one song can take you back like no time has passed.
About a month ago this video popped in my head but I couldn’t remember anything about it other than how the singer looked (his hair mostly). I Couldn’t remember band name, song, how it went, anything. Then about 5 minutes ago I was visualizing what I could remember of the music video and I immediately saw the songs name in my mind. I still couldn’t remember the band but once I had the song title I was good. It’s interesting how you can sometimes try so hard to remember something and you’re convinced you’ve simply lost it forever then it just pops up out of nowhere. So glad I finally found it again after all these years.
Picked this album up in Mexico of all places in 06, right around when I was 10. Still one of my favorite songs of all time that I listen to at least once every weekday while driving.
Dude I'm 41 years old and I am still BLASTING this tune. Its timeless. Such an amazing song. Man how this takes me to a nostalgic time in my life. So god damn good!
one of the canadian bands that got play on 89x in windsor/detroit, awesome thing about living so close to the border, the stations require play to canadian bands.
I remember this song came out when I was in middle school. Still brings back memories of old flings and good times with friends. I'm 31 now, it's crazy how long it has been. Nice trip down memory lane.
Always loved this song and next week I'm shooting a music video for one of my favorite bands with Steve bays (singer of hot hot heat) directing. What a crazy world.
Man I miss hearing music like this. The strokes, tv on the radio, yeah yeah yeahs, the bravery, the killers, bloc party, etc..It just reminds me of simpler times without all the social and political issues going on now 😣

Such an epic band....I've listened to each song (many times) at different points in my life (since their first CD came out)...the songs hit just as hard every time. Extremely underrated. ❤ I'm so thankful.
I genuinely love this song so much! It reminds me of my sophomore year in high school. I was 16. That was seven years ago! I feel like it was just yesterday.
At the time I had graduated high school and I was off to college… this song plays on my rides there. I’m 30 now. I didn’t know how my life would have changed in these last 13 years! I’ve lost. I learned. I grew. Many blessings to everyone
Lyrics Don't get mad if I'm laughing Blame the caffeine for all the 5 am phone calls I haven't slept a single night in over a month And not even once did you start to make sense to me Well maybe I'm a little bit slow, or just consistently inconsistent She said, "Unpredictability's my responsibility, baby." But you're waiting at the door where everybody's hanging out just like they hung out before You didn't have to do it but you did it to say That you didn't have to do it but you would anyway To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere They chewed me up and then they spit me out And I'm not supposed to let it bother me But maybe I'm a little bit weak - I let my frailty take the wheel She said, "Maybe there's a bit of me waiting for a bit of you. baby." But you're waiting at the door where everybody's hanging out just like they hung out before You didn't have to do it but you did it to say That you didn't have to do it but you would anyway To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere But you're waiting at the door where everybody's hanging out just like they hung out before You didn't have to do it but you did it to say That you didn't have to do it but you would anyway To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere To give you something to go on when I go off back to the middle of nowhere To give you something to go on - to go on back to the middle of nowhere
One of the restaurants near my house plays music videos while you eat and almost every time I go there they play this music video, but luckily it’s one of my favorite songs.
11 years ago I went to England and listened to this song, I downloaded and loved it, then forgot about this band until I recently opened a french magazine where I wrote all the songs that I liked on my euro trip, I can't believe I forgot about this band.
I remember high school days and melancholy nights to music like this, I remember a lot of tender moments shared and things I didn't say. Today I look back and say thank god thats over as sensual as it was these days where my most vulnerable.
Remember listening to this getting ready for school miss my high school days got two kids now crazy this wasn’t a biggest hit had to do some research to find this gem
I'm 53 and just discovered this tune. (I know I know....) I loved another of their songs that was on Saints Row 2 a long time ago (Let Me In), but now I cannot STOP listening to them! Especially this song! So sad they're not touring any more. Would love to see them with a lineup of The Shins and Turnover. This music is timeless sunshine and good feels for me!
This is my baby daughters power song! It helped us through the hardest time in our lives and I really believe it made her strong for her surgery and recovery after, at only 5 days old, we would play it to her all the time. She is 2 months now and it still calms her down 💜
My old roommate had way different musical tastes than me back in the day, but nonetheless, he played HHH and I latched on to this band and especially this album. I still come back to this often. Awesome band and album.
Such a theme of nostalgia from the comments. This song makes me very nostalgic. My best friend introduced me to this years ago and it's so good. Music was changing when this was released and it was an exciting time!

It reminds me how much better music was ten years before this was released.
listen to this song when I was 18, now I currently 32, man those days and memories really bring me shivers whenever I listen back to this masterpiece.
The world is undeniably insane these days, compared to back then.
I thought I was the only person to feel shivers with songs of this era. Some good memories and some bad. But what a hell of a time it was.

A decade may go by but I can still relate to this song.
This is one of the greatest songs of all time
2019 & still one of my favorite songs. Got me feeling old tho. 😭
This will always be one of my all-time favorite music videos!
Nice name
You're very pretty, Sunday Mourning.
This song dominated an entire summer of mine as a teenager. I'm 30-something now and man, it's wild how time flies.
Let's make the best of then, eh? 😁
I love the vibe of this song so much.
this brings so many great memories, 2004/05, being a teenager and going to see these guys. Still have the concert tee!
Used to watch Fuse (channel 339 on DirecTV) for hours just to catch this music video.
Use to be the only way to listen haha that or lime wire ;)
