"The warranty start date shown for any product in a Fanatec account is based on the shipping date of the order. This means if the customer purchases a pre-order item, the purchase date has no bearing on the start of the warranty coverage. If the customer requires support towards the end of the warranty period, we take the date of delivery into account."

In one of your previous videos you suggested that Fanatec's first concern should be customer service and delivery times. I think you are 100% right here.
Another suggestion could be that Fanatec could be more accessible by selling through the recognized retail market.
As a new sim racer I happened to come across Fanatec, I only knew Logitech and Thrustmaster.
I did receive all my Fanatec material that I ordered on Black Friday on the indicated date.... so I was lucky.

I appreciate these videos a lot, I dont really have fanetec in my highest respected company necessarily but due to how big they are in the simracing community I think its vital for a company like them to survive through this if they can. The coverage you provide really helps me get an understanding roughly of what all is going on since I don't have a lot of time to dig through this info myself. Mainly just wanted to say thank you though.

Yeah this was great. His recent series on this topic helped me make my decision and I went with the sweet Kireth discount on Logitech.
Being a Fanatec customer, I hope they bounce back. Especially considering that I'm interested in upgrading from my GT DD Pro to the Clubsport DD+. For now, I will hold off until I know for sure they are not going under. Makes no sense to upgrade if I might not be able to get product updates or assistance in the future.
Why not just go to a better company Fanatec had there chance
@trevz1048 I would, but I like to play GT7 on PS5, and Fanatec is the better choice that's compatible on console and PC.

No, it’s not investors. Its people who are invested in Fanatec gear and really don’t appreciate people trying to capitalise on negativity for their own gain. If you actually read the shareholder release it is all positive news. A company turning over 20 million profit for a market capitalisation of say 50 million is doing pretty well. The share price reduction represents a temporary loss in market confidence while the restructuring takes place. Other commenters are correct that Fanatec needs to survive. Especially if you want compatibility across any platforms other than PC. We need to keep buying there products in recognition of the value they offer to a broad spectrum of sim fan’s. Logitech and Thrustmaster are really bystanders and it was Fanatec that took Simracing to where it is now. A whole bunch of new manufactures have seen the pot of gold and also want a slice of the action without putting in the hard yards it took to get there. People who are blessed to have a platform should recognise they need to use there influencing power responsibly. In these type of delicate situations it is very easy to cause damage to someone who ultimately only have the consumers interest at heart. Everyone needs to get behind Fanatec and cut them a break.

Check their socials first, it's a problem from at least black friday in November last year. People waiting for orders that never happen and even tried to get their money back, without a answer.
This is positive really - if people are fighting for ownership then they must see a decent amount of potential for growth

Woow..!! I’ve been thinking of pulling the trigger on the DD Extreme bundle, but since I came across your videos (very informative) I’m holding back as I want to have better idea of what the future holds for Fanatec (will stay a float) and Fanatec customers if they ever need to contact to technical or sales support.
Long live fanatec, I hope they come back bigger then ever, cus there already heavy in the lead so I want them to take sim racing to another dimension, it would be good for everyone even if u buy other brands n just love sim racing its a win for everyone.

I can't help but wonder if Logitech saw this coming, or at least the risk.. and has decided to hold out a little bit longer on their line of options that would be sinister, to drop an optional wheel or two, and a shifter, the day the competition that just happens to be known for that goes under
@@heinous70 tbh it's not a fair comparation. Logitech makes from gaming mouses, to keyboards, to headsets, they make their money, with a lot of gaming periferial other than wheels. Fanatec on the other hand, tried to get over themselves and try to make orders when in reality they can't make up for the demand.
@@thatfunnykekguy6377 they can't keep up with the demand because they were spending their money elsewhere. Everywhere from Ray sponsorship, to research and development on all of the optional Wheels they offered. I don't think the young people get it. What they like about fanatec so much, was in fact their eventual downfall. I wondered several years ago how a company could offer that many options and stay afloat. When I found out they only employed 180 people, I need then it probably wouldn't be long. I've been Logitech loyal since 1995. People can say what they will about them not being a Sim company, and I just laugh. I've had zero problems with any Logitech product I bought since 1995. My grandson is using my G29 that's almost 11 years old now Logitech understands how to go about business. They don't want their products mixed with someone else's botched s***, because they don't want their name coming up at the top of the Sim list on Reddit everyday.. like Mosa. You're right.. there is no comparison. Logitech is a strong company that's been around forever, and is it going anywhere. As soon as these Sim companies have a stumble in business, they'll be gone

Bought fanatec setup 2018 which I still use.very good quality.hoped they don't fail.
I’m a new sim racer on ACC for console for the past 7 months or so. I have been using a G923 and have been feeling myself fall into the rabbit hole of wanting a PC and LC pedals. So I’ve been researching starting peripherals. Had my eye on the CSL dd but this stuff all makes me nervous.
I purchased the GT DD pro and the McLaren wheel early in March 2024 just before the disruption started. Although it’s seems like a long time my McLaren wheel and QR1 lite arrived 16th April and now I do have details from UPS for the DD pro also. There was a delay sending DD pro and this was appropriately communicated to me. Its sound like I have maybe been a bit lucky as, so far, I have experienced no issues buying from Fanatec. Not sure if I would place any new orders at the moment, but they are certainly not off my list, yet😂👍🏽
I sadly just bought 3 weeks ago m entry level ready to race bundle with the mclaren wheel. The order is shipped, the website said that it would ship around may 1st and I was fine with that. But now im wondering if my products are going to work long term. If they go bankrupt who is going to update the drivers for the fanatec equipment :(
As a fairly new Fanatec customer, I appreciate that there are people trying to dig some stuff up. I for one haven't planned nor researched the financial statements/etc. like you and others have. I feel like this is truly a positive move for them though, and while you think it's "civil war", I see a guy who wants to save the business he started decades ago. Humans hold onto a lot of things, and for him to feel like he must do all to save it, if it's legit and without malice, then I'm all for it. 25mil might seem like a lot, but I have faith they can make it happen especially in an industry so closely linked to motorsport and all the licensing they have. Do I feel some buyers' remorse? Sure, I think anyone would that wants to race primarily on PS5 and there's only one true ecosystem available, but I still also feel like there's enough time to turn things around.

Now I am worried I recently ordered the maclaren wheel for my dd pro seriously concerned i won’t get my order 😮 being relatively new to sim racing I can’t afford a financial loss if they go under as we know it’s the customer that never gets funds returned especially in good time.
I am so happy I ordered the Logitech Pro wheel and pedals instead of Fanatec
Watch thrustmaster buy them and switch all the gear to their systems , which would save a ton of money on R and D , for pennies on the dollars
They need to make pedals that are half as good as their wheel bases.
V3 are nice but are way behind the competition. That alone could save them.

If they could finally ship their stuff and not sit on it and having people cancel orders due to long waits they could make the money, but instead here I am still waiting for my DD extreme bundle and pedals smh

They can make these money within 2-3 months IF they are loyal to their customers, where is the customer support, start shipping those delayed orders and people will buy again, i’m waiting for my order for almost a month now and I already want to order more stuff but with these delays and not clear picture of delivery dates and restock people are afraid to order.
I've been waiting for my order since november 2023. Fanatec will not reply to emails.

I would go with literally any other company. I’ve been waiting on a rma shipping labels return for my bricked wheel for 4 months now
Great coverage as always. So if you are new to Fanatec you will know that every year for the past 5 years they have been having shipping problems and customer service issues. Although some people do have a great experience with them and some don't. The service reports varies alot because they are the leaders in Sim Racing equipment. Meaning they sale a lot of gear yearly on average so not everyone gets the best from Fanatecs intentions I believe.
However with that said they have been performing like a yoyo for many years now and Thomas has not been able to fix it. It seems aparent to most that if Thomas wanted to fix the situation he doesn't now how to and demonistrated this the past few years. Even if he sales stocks to gain the 26 million needed which would be stupid because he would loose majority shares most likely he still wouldn't be able to fix the inhernt issues. That is customer service and delivery going forward. The 26 mill sound slike that's what is needed to get back to zero, out of the red. The problem of service and deleviery still exist. It's time for Thomas to set aside and take some instruction from someone that may know how to run a mid size company more than Thomas.
Also keep in mind they are already sending out to affilaites to push products to earn double the payouts in May. lol They can't pay their bills now, why would anyone think they would get paid double commisions. I would say that unless you really trust the RUclipsrs opinion you follow that you think twice about buying into the eco system. I'm certainly not pushing it because I seen this coming for years now.
I do hope them the best and I hope they recover because they do make some good products. However so does, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Simagic, Moza, Simucube, Asetec, Sim Experience, and many others. It's a crouded field and the only reason Fanatec is still in the game IMO is because the majorty of people race on consoles.

@@Kireth Up to 10%. Yeap It's big push. The carrot leading the horse. Now lets see who all really pushes the Fanatec products next month. I will not attend the meeting to get in on the extra dough. I have earned lots of dollars from them in the past when I pushed the products when they had great service, but I can not in sound mind push a product that may be out of business soon and sold to someone else. Of course I don't blaim them to push while they can, they got bills to pay.

What about sponsoring? They have expend a lot in that topic. Most games, virtual F1 in pandemic, online races and even actual pro races have their name on it.

MOZA. I'm dumping all my fanatec gear and going to MOZA. If you play ETS2 they are the only company with a dedicated wheel for trucks and farming sims.
Maybe if they weren't sending free product to RUclipsrs they could save a little money and have product for paying customers

Sony should offer Jack $12-16,000,000 for 51% control and the ability to rename all of IRL series that Fanatec sponsors under the “Gran Turismo” banner.

@@thatfunnykekguy6377 Checked the tracker. Says it's been 'refused delivery'. I rang UPS up. They said they'd knocked and noone was home so...they sent it back to Germany. Mad.
NB: no-one told me it was due to arrive that day. I got no message telling me 'your parcel is due to arrive on such and such a day'. What's more I KNOW I was in on that day anyway, so I don't believe them. I've had UPS lie to my face about knocking on my door before, then just leave bulky parcels in a nearby alleyway.
And the UPS handler told me that they have to try and deliver three separate times. Not just once.
I've heard nothing from Fanatec for months now.

Just call them and refund, it’s safer to buy used rather than from fanatec, they are facing bankruptcy.

You obviously have a lot of viewers that are experts in business, finance, and the stock market. I think those people that are firm Believers that fanatec will come through this unscathed, would be absolute fools not to throw a substantial amount of funds that way. Put your money where your mouth is. Invest.

Fanatec need to get back to making products for their customers instead of getting into sponsorships in games or esport events. These sponsorships only promote fanatec, it does not encourage people to buy fanatec products.
As soon as the Chinese get permission for PS5 chips... The load on Fanatec will drop sharply... But it won’t be necessary to buy Fanatec devices either... So Thrustmaster Logitech and Fanatec are the only manufacturers that have access to PS5.

Nothing but subscription hunters, nothing at all will happen to Endor AG. They are simply too big to go bankrupt, there are enough investors who will do so by October 2024.
And everyone who cancels their Fanatec order won't have it any easier. You react way too early, my order was with me in Europe in 12 days. Don't let this post unsettle you, everything will turn out well.

No other person/brand changed the landscape of sim racing equipment more than Thomas Jackermeyer and Fanatec. He brought mid to high end sim racing gear to the mass market. Fanatec made sim racing gear sexy. Fanatec was the first brand who implemented the loadcell in the brake, a quick release, a high end dd system and the first who produced a sub 10nm dd system. Fanatec should be loved instead of getting hate. But unfortunaley, Fanatec always ran a shitty business model.
This ain’t good, it is just going to exacerbate the situation.
If TJ knows what sim-racers want, why they spent millions for this 'hybrid' wheels mainly for real race-cars that nobody was asking for? This 1500 bucks BMW-wheel is a joke and should cost 599 and this Bentley-wheel maybe 999 and be already on the market since years, because that's the wheels people are buying elsewhere. Why they didn't scale up their formula wheels a bit to sell a proper GT-wheel? Even I could change the CAD for that. And look what crappy wheels they want to sell instead. A Porsche 911 wheel like in the one 10 years ago and two dozens crappier versions of it.
