As someone from Tyrone I agree. We do bear some responsibility but you must understand it was due to ravenous desire to win. We had a decent footballing side but maybe lacked one more marquee forward. 2005s team played total football you could argue. Armagh/ Donegal saw you didn’t need the swanky players to win Sam and rest is history. Northies have wee chip on our shoulder because of the political aspect, as reflected in Canavan speech. We feel now Kerry people respect us so would be great if we could return to man to man football, could be easily enforced now with GPS. Derry game against Galway was dire especially as both teams have some lovely forwards.
