Great video. Do you feel any difference in the throttle from stock tune? Is there a setting for throttle curve or anything in the app?

Thanks for your video, i have a sur ron 2021 street legal with motard wheels( genuine sur ron kit), sprocket 58 and i running at 80 km my weight is near 65 kg.
The controller is amazing but i don't think that only one can do miracle without battery upgrade.
The bypass on stock battery is cheaper but at the same time very dangerous. New battery is expensive and with torp controller is like i buy another bike...
For me upgrade to 10/12 kw max is really sufficient with speed around 90 km and fast acceleration.

I haven't changed battery and bought 60v instead of 72v so I didn't have to do that. Torp has changed everything. Don't have any other point of reference except stock controller. I run left thumb control made inhouse no problema.
What were you doing with your turning lichtswitch? Dit you program something ad it? I saw you sometimes push it twice quick

Nah, I just make sure that I turn it off, double-check, haha 😅.
I also got the Torp now for a few days. My Surron L1E is stock (batterie, sprocket, ...).
On the speedometer i changed the ratio to 1.1, so it shows me the right speed (same as GPS).
The Torp app always shows about 10% more speed than GPS and speedo.
Settings are 48 sprocket and 63cm wheel. What can i do to show me the right speed in the app?
Eco Speed limit at 45 km/h let´s me ride only 40 km/h in real.
Whait where did you set up the ratio ?
You need to set up the ratio in app
And it will work. Change ratio in app
Test with phone gps if is off change again
@@CroRonster I changed the ratio on the first day i had the bike from 1.0 to 1.1, because the speed didn´t compare to the GPS. This is why the speedometer shows the right speed also after changing the controller.
Only the torp app doesn´t show the right speed.
If i change the wheel size (maybe to 60 cm), do i have to calibrate the app again? hall or throttle?
Hmm, idk i just changed my wheel diameter settings on torp app until i got correct speed on phone gps and speed on bike display
And now it shows correct speed on speedo on bike , torp app, ang gps app
I did not touch sprocket ratio, only wheel diameter
@@CroRonster Wheel diameter is the solution. Changed that to 60 cm, did the calibration again and now it shows same speed than GPS. Thank you for your help !!!

is there a way with the torp controller to immediately lock the bike to the legal limit again so if i get stopped by the police that i dont get in trouble?
I don't think so
You can set the eco mode in app to be 50km/h and sport on max
And hide the sport/eco button
But also delete then on dash max speed
and how do you get along with that? or do you plan on fleeing from the police if you get stopped haha@@CroRonster

I got my phone on bike , so i can easy switch.
It is not like they gonna try to drive it to see how fast it goes.
yea but i live in germany and they sometimes have mobile test benches that you have to put them on so they can see the speed@@CroRonster

But when they set it up you got time to set on mobile app limit.
Can you post your slider settings for the Torp app? I am actually getting less top speed then i did with the stock controller and am wondering if i need to adjust some settings. I turned up the sliders all the way but am only getting 42-45 mph (70 kph).
Max speed by me is 73kmh gps measured, speedo was not accurate.

Adjust your wheel diameter. Recalibrate throttle. What battery do you use?
@supergangsta1998 stock battery. Did all that, I think my problem was that I have a bigger sprocket installed, which lowers my top speed. I'm waiting to buy a 72v battery once I get some finances in order then I will be set.

@@CroRonsterI reach 79 km/h on a stock sur ron and the only thing I have changed is the chain.
Everything depends..
But depends chain quality , ur weight , air resistance, temperature ,..
i did make it 77km/h , i got also motocross helmet , so more resistance ..
Moral of the story save your loot and get a bac 😏👽🚲🎬

I was able to get sometime 77 kmh.
But needs to be 100% battery.
Measure with gps, dash not accurate.
Bekommt man ja mit jedem Controller hin da nur vom Kettenblatt abhängig. Mit dem Torp ist man aber definitiv schneller am Limit :-).
The speed looks worse than stock. I can get 45mph on grass so on road it's about 50-55mph and it's all stock
