it has those two little slots on your red button side of the plastic cover I just put a piece of tape over it and it draws all the dust down instead of spraying it out on the side
This has really changed what's possible in a small shop, for me. The on-tool programming is really easy, the controls are very intuitive, and as far as automated tools go, it does a great job of protecting itself and the workpiece from human error.
It's a Whiteside RU2100. The U.S.-made Shaper branded bits come in the same packaging and look really similar. I haven't found anything that says Whiteside is their OEM, but it's a guess. www.whitesiderouterbits.com/products/ru2100
I only cut 1/4" deep passes in hardwood, and I stop the last pass just short of full thickness, all at an offset of maybe 0.01. Then I make the final clean-up pass at full depth with no offset to clean it up and cut it loose.
Thank you. The design was done entirely on-tool, so there's no file to share. I do have a link to my sole Shaper Hub project in the description of my new video on cutting out a Systainer foam insert for the Workstation accessories. A quarter of the time, the biggest problem is forgetting to turn the vac on.
Wow thanks. Looks like smooth cuts no issues....extremely hard to do with a standard router.

great tolerances when closing.
What's the camera you've got attached on the right side of the Shaper?
GoPro Hero 7 Black
What’s the exact bit you used? The long one. Thanks for posting the video. (Plus, I HATE when I also forget to turn on the vacuum 😅)

How did you do that without getting any tear out? Whenever I cut a circle there is a lot of tear out.
