Best mtb videos I've seen on RUclips. I could never do something like this because the only words that come out of my mouth are expletives... That and the fact I'm shite on a bike
Those locals kept you on your toes FairPlay!!!!! Insanely fast even without following them 👍 excellent videos now mate, the investment is paying off, even your dad would have been twitching watching that, making him proud
Just catching up with the vids Andy and they still on the money mate best out there , keep doing what you doing they just get better , I’ve just spent best part of a hour catching up and loved every minute 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🚵🚵✅✅
Looks like you were learning to fly at the start of the pink Floyd trail. Overall another cracking vid. Really want to get to Dunkeld and try them out myself
the loose slate switch backs near the end have big drops which aren't apparent on the Gopro. a wee bit of poo came out when I did it . I use these vids for research before trying them thanks mctrail
my other half (wheezy) is from Scotland and after watching some of your older vids she would love for us to make the 9hour drive and ride some of them. o and also visit the place she was born :)
Also I think that some third person shots really help with showing the true stepness of the trail but that's a lot to ask of someone and I feel it may kind of ruin your ride Having to stop and set up cameras. And your buddies may hate having to stop from time to time lol Maybe the drone on follow mode on some of the more open places could show it? One of the vids had incredible drone riding shots. Just throwing out some thought. With that said your killing it and the channel is growing and you do what makes you happy! That way I get more vids lol 😁🤙🤙
Looks like I went to the wrong hill when I was up there a few weeks ago. I was not used to riding such steep rocky trails so I was really struggling and couldn't ride much of it properly
Wonder what had happened to flow wrecker James, Might need to give Dunkeld a whirl as its not too far away from me, Bet its a swamp now tho as those trails look good
Not wearing gloves while biking is generally healthy, because almost all gloves pinch some nerves in your palms, and can hurt you that way. This is one reason why your palms can become numb in gloves. The downsides are falls (d'uh), and cold weather. You might not feel it when your body is hot from riding, but cooling joints too much is not advisable. The same goes for your elbows, knees, and feet.
thanks mate for your reply for a minute there i though it was the gopro hero 7 haha my mistake see you on the trail one day if you ever venture to wales
@@McTrailRider watching your video makes me want to come over to Scotland. I'm going to start recording more my rides and maybe make a RUclips channel for fun I do have one already but it's not much a couple of 30 second videos. If you could make a video showing all the gear you carry and stuff like what kind of storage cards you need etcetera batteries that would be awesome
@@McTrailRider Thanks for the recommendation. I always thought Glentress was for the pros. I'll look more into it and hopefully head up soon. Thanks for the recommendation. All the best.
have been running the airliners around the same trail as you at Dunkeld and it feels like just running tubeless, you can hear them rattling about inside the tyre on soft loamy ground, but its not a problem. i see cushcore are now listing plus size inserts. Anyway, so far so good and no dings...yet!
you know its a good video when it makes you want to ride your bike, great videos keep it up
..great riding man!...fast,fast and fast...love it,and a wheelie to finish...
Best mtb videos I've seen on RUclips. I could never do something like this because the only words that come out of my mouth are expletives... That and the fact I'm shite on a bike
Brilliant bike and camera setup....highly enjoyable! Thanks
You can see the hanging helmet cam when you record on the chest mount....I would like to see the helmet setup in full
Excellent video.. a view of the rear would be cool to watch what your back wheel does.
Those locals kept you on your toes FairPlay!!!!! Insanely fast even without following them 👍 excellent videos now mate, the investment is paying off, even your dad would have been twitching watching that, making him proud
Great video. Will be trying these trails for sure 👍
Heart was pumping watching that. Cheers.
Impressive speed going down those trails. Looks good
The sound of the bikes on the rock shales is amazing. Impressive you can ride stuff like that (semi) blind so fast!
Dunkeld is stunning, use to visit the Hilton there for work 👍
We did Pink Floyd yesterday and it is epic! Fast, flowing and such fun!
Class Again!! I'll watch the rest after Pysio...Up at Hamsterley yesterday for the first time in 6 months..Thanks for ya Vids!!
Ish Mate...Got some Timber to shift, and confidence to find...But I'm on my way..
Step by Limp....Ha

nice video great fun trails, just what I needed after 3 weeks nursing my broken arm, reminds me why I ride thanks.
Sliding on the slates ! Pretty good vid !
Those grips and decals have made you faster. Getting decent speed there. I’m a big fan of ergon grips.
Decals look sweet
McTrail Rider I’ve got gd1 factory slim, boys have GE1 slims and I put GA2 on the hardtail. Not cheap either.
Sweet riding and filmning!
Brilliant trails and riding ! I love riding without gloves aswell ....feels so much better
You got such a nice trails wow.
Looks like you were learning to fly at the start of the pink Floyd trail. Overall another cracking vid. Really want to get to Dunkeld and try them out myself
It’s well worth the visit, seems that there is work getting done all the time there now 👍
Grate Stuff buddy like the new grips the bike looking good buddy hope all good your way ;0)

The new decals look sick 👍

Go old GoPro effect strikes again 😜
I like the sound of the slate rock.
Love your freehub sound!
Awesome riding!
Holy shit, that first section. Great video.
Sweet riding mate! Love your orange cockpit! What hubs are you running?
Sweet mate! Just picked up my first full suspension bike and immediately want new hubs and cockpit set up haha!
As always my friend! Keep shreddin' man!
my other half (wheezy) is from Scotland and after watching some of your older vids she would love for us to make the 9hour drive and ride some of them. o and also visit the place she was born :)
Awesome quality!! Def loved this one. Is that a new dropper?

superb m8. nice 👍
Been hunting through old videos trying to remember who make your sweet orange bars and stem. I'm sure you mentioned it before...
McTrail Rider That would be ace & thanks! Just realised I should have scrolled down the comments 🙄 common question it seems. Sorry.
Great vids, nice trails at Dunkeld, bit natural, tight and not enough jumps for me though, any recommendations for flowy, jumps trails in Scotland?
To be honest, Scotland lacks flow and jump trails. Glenlivet has just added an orange jump line which looks really good.
Great trails Mate. The no gloves thing always makes me nervous...
Wow that's awesome. How long is the hike to the top?
Not wearing gloves while biking is generally healthy, because almost all gloves pinch some nerves in your palms, and can hurt you that way. This is one reason why your palms can become numb in gloves.

Good video. Could you do a bike cleaning video and what you take on a ride video
About to movE to a new house a 30 min drive from Dunkeld!
Nice. Those stickers look sweet. What model evil is that?
McTrail Rider thought it was Andy. “Want “ one of them.
I love the dunkeld trails especially pink floyd! But I hate the stairs going up to rake and ruin. What bars and stem are you running?
That’s for telling me that I will need to have a look!
mc trail rider so what camera is on the chin and what is on the chest mount ??? great video
thanks mate for your reply for a minute there i though it was the gopro hero 7 haha my mistake see you on the trail one day if you ever venture to wales
Great vid mate! By the way you used the gimbal footage instead of the chin cam? Was it better for this trail?
I want to quit my job and move to Scotland
EWS needs to host an event there!

Any advice on a beginner trail in Scotland? I'm getting back on a bike for the first time in a long time. It's a hardtail.
Cheers

All the best.
This is siiiick. Could anyone direct me to the best riding spots for someone who’s never ridden in Scotland?
What settings do you use for exporting gopro footage ? I use premiere and i can't get this hq even filming at 2'7k
What do you think of the air liners? Do they help with damping as well like the cushcores?
McTrail Rider so no notice of added damping as advertised?
have been running the airliners around the same trail as you at Dunkeld and it feels like just running tubeless, you can hear them rattling about inside the tyre on soft loamy ground, but its not a problem. i see cushcore are now listing plus size inserts. Anyway, so far so good and no dings...yet!
What bar and stem are you running?
Quality .
What bike is that, I fucked my nuke proof at fort William a few weeks ago and am looking for a replacement 👌
McTrail Rider cheers, I actually prefer a good enduro anyway 💪👍
Good video but did it look like he edited the drop on last trail 😂😂
What do you mean by “edited”?
When you bring out the clothing range it’s gotta be tartan!!! Like violent ! Make the Burberry stuff look tame!!👍
Those sections with the bracken must have been a bitch with no gloves! How many ticks did you collect loL!
I got all the ticks 😜
Damn😎🤘
Frightening how fast you are
It's not a proper video unless James goes OTB 3 times :P
haha its Ruri that loves an OTB I have much more variety in my many falls!
Extra style points.
