- This is Episode 16 in our Lakehouse Build series. In this episode, we begin the installation of the 3/4" Plywood Subfloor. It gets glued and screwed down to ensure a squeak free floor.

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest; State of Washington! Been enjoying your videos of the Lakehouse Build, I was intrigued with the ICF so much that I had to watch, but first I started from the beginning; the gatage/loft build, it was great to watch all videos, I especially loved the part when you were blowing the rope down the electrical pvc, watching Cat's expression as the rope took off and she was trying to hold on, it was great! I love how you two work together, and you don't have to. worry about a dirty worksite, Cat does such a good job cleaning up behind you. I look forward to seeing the finished product, keep up the great work, and can't wait for the next video. 🙂

Yes. The plywood gives a solid and safe surface to work from. That is one of the reasons we set the floor joists in stages.
