When I go through my old tapes I notice my BYB's have the best sound overall. It's what live Go-go should sound like. I'll thrown in 6/30/95 also.

Absolutely !! Spring and early summer 96 BYB was doggin! Still had a nice blend of the 95 Onyx BYB. I liked fall/winter 96 BYB also.
From the beginning game of January 1997 all the up until August 1997, BYB dogged tf outta gogo. Some of the best shows ever imo

@@worm1013 I have to go with the '97 Black Hole Friday Nights! Errrrbody used to come out and hop on the stage before their own shows with Back.. You'd get a special guest just about every Friday for a good 15 minutes. Plus, BYB was at home at the Black Hole. Those Friday Nights were epic! 🙌🏾

Aye Crankdat, this was a pleasure to listen to.... I was part of that 41 Mob present from 96-99 on all of these joints... I just LOL'd on my route at the end with that Hulk Hogan speech at the end 😂.... This joint rocked from beginning to end including the "Hol, Hol, Hol, Security to the stage".... Appreciate you Cuz!

Bruce WAz that guy
He was super original with his style such that he was the lead singer and hype man, whereas now Los is the rapper and hype man. Back then though Los was just the rapper when Bruce was with the band. What’s interesting though is Los was actually the singer at one point pre-Bruce .

@mrmoet agreed! It's funny how LJ's singing voice sounded so similar to Bruce but Bruce's adlibs were legendary. Also, Bruce was the best joaner on the mic in Gogo history 😂

@@CrankDatClassicPATapesandCDs he prolly mean unreleased joints. They sometimes see the light of day. Big Butch had a rack of JYB and BYB tapes for his shows that unless you purchased from him would be unavailable elsewhere.
