PVD is still the legendary savior of Trance in 2023. Hands down the best trance set Ive heard in years since his last two performances at Tommorowland & Nature One. Noticed that "Wishful Thinking" instantly gave me "Connected" vibes from the "Reflection" album. Great follow-up I'd say.

@@DaRUde117 usually music is outside politics and I'm trying to obstrain commenting about it, but when one country is brutally attacking another one there's just no place for silence.
After seeing your comment I've spent some time looking for any signs of support from Paul van Dyk in regards to Ukraine and I haven't found a single mention. Not even an emoji. On the contrary, I'm seeing Paul supporting a russian artist now in Luminosity 2022 set, which is disrespectful for me and other ukrainian citizens affected by war. Dj Feel, who has been supported in this mix, has an account in vk com, where he has many followers with prorussian "Z" avatars with many comments on his posts like "can't wait to see you in russian DNR" (ukrainian Donetsk, occupied by russia since 2014).
Feel also didn't show any sign of protest against his government (just like other 99.9% of russian artists).

He played all the music & style of other DJ's from back in the days when he was competing for the 1# Dj (music he never dare to play). I mean, he started with "Silence" & played other Tiesto-like songs and at 45:00 he played that Rank 1 tune. I believe he got nostalgic, as he never played those songs when he was Younger... Still love this set. #Respect

Matthias Paul is father and mother of Trance ! He create this genre !👏
Paul created it, but ferry corsten made it mainstream and put it on the map back in the late 90s if it wasn't for him I doubt all the producers would of moved from house music to trance creating arguably the best dance music tracks in history ( especially in 1999)
