Wow, I never thought the GBA supported so many sound channels at the same time, even more so because the sound is generated from the CPU itself 😳 Very Good!
The most confusing part... It doesn't have a sound driver! Some people wrote tools for multi-sample BGM in the GBA. I heard there was one with 32 sample channels at maximum. So damn crazy
@@Mizu2023 But since the GBA doesn't have its own sound chip, if we don't include the GB/GBC chip, the more samples used, the more the CPU needs to utilize its capacity?
Aparently the GBA might be able to play something like this with a custom sound driver. Shin'En GAX, uses in many cartoon and movie licensed games on the GBA claims to support up to 32 channels.
I swear PCM12 & 13 really transformed the source in a lovely way. If Stealth had turned his Sonic 1 GBA techdemo into a full game, I’d imagine someone could use that groundwork to further attempt to make a fan port of CD to GBA, with past tracks remade like this as one-size-fits-all Zone BGMs since the pre-rendered redbook-quality present/future tracks would be out of the question
I like how you took some sound from other RUclipsrs and prove yourself how sonic cd palmtree past song is possible, mixed with sonic advance 1 (and 2 I think)

Yeah, the GBA can achieve this easily
@@Albergarri788 with a good deal of effort when it comes to the sound driver, much more could be done too
@@TorutheRedFox Even with Sappy you can get this amount of channels I think
