Death and hit reactions is a must have for any infantry player. Make sure to enable the animations for players because you always get an adrenaline rush when you’re in an animation after getting shot and hoping the AI will keep missing.
I had to disable the player animations, it was annoying not being able to shoot for a full second after getting shot, and by the time I could shoot, I get shot again lmao
Headrange plus is amazing, you can stick your head out the window of a truck and look behind you while reversing. Also lets you see how precisely built some vehicle models are when you move your view outside the default envelope of the pilot view and see where the polygons stop because the area is normally not visible so they didn't waste resources on it
@@adamcorbett5289 No, TrackIR, it just extends the movement within the vehicle. I think you could use it without and just use the keyboard view controls but it'd be kind of fiddly.
I know it's not some of additional content mod, but Antistasi Ultimate is just awesome ! The mod is recently updated and just added Ruha as Playable. The map is gorgeous and FPS friendly most of the time. It's created by Temppa, so Might want to check that dude workshop as well. He did many gorgeous map there
I do have a mod for you, try PIR ACE medical version, it adds live leak level animations as well as ai and players now grabbing their injured body parts when hit, perfect for when using 5.56 as when you hit them they now realistically stop and flinch rather than immediately hit you with follow up shots
I use Sandbox Everywhere to fix game design issues. Forced to fight an entire platoon as a four-man squad? Missing a suppressor on this stealth mission for some reason? Clipped into a house and can't find your way out? You can fix it all
I guess it just depends on how realistic you want the game. want it to be absolutely as realistic as humanly possible, then go without the remove stamina. if you want to actually have fun in the game, then id play without stamina.
So do I bud, 13 years active duty and on my second branch. In many cases in Arma, your guy doesn’t make it 100m before being tanked. It’s more or less a nicety. Maybe we need faster stamina refill instead of NO stamina. Balance out a bit.

3den Enhanced is awesome I have orks fight that aren’t scared to get in your face. Just turn that courage all the way up and they will charge the line like they are suppose to. Then you can make it where the guardsman are always scared shitless. It’s fun

I recommend playing vanilla and getting used to the base game so that way you’ll actually know and understand what mods are actually changing and can appreciate the change better. That’s how I did it and actually helped me appreciate vanilla more too that way.

Rip arma 3 you will be missed. Over 6000 hours clocked in on arma 3 and tbh my noet favorite game of all time. So much imyou could do on here that no other game has ever been remotely close to what arma 3 offers.
Hey viper, I highly recommend you check out the Proelium Altis mod for the game and showcase it in a video soon. This mod is fairly new and definitely stands out amongst other single player/coop mods. Very well developed and the developers are very active in updating it

@@Viper1Zero maybe try as just like a one off episode where you're playing in say some fighter jet and you're providing CAP or even CAS for ground targets maybe. maybe you could even bring along some friends and have them try and get a convoy from point A to point B whilst you're providing CAS for them.
@@andrewlindhjem9822 Our highways are longer, more speed out. The average speed is 55-60. We needed something longer to measure time to travel. A mile a minute makes more sense than 3.2km per minute.

Before, you have already done many reviews for Arma3 maps (including the review - "the best maps A3 for aviation! ), now try do a review - "the best A3 maps for tank battles". It seems to me, that few people have done such review yet. At least I have not seen such a review before.
My only problem with blastcore by neetch is that for some reason on my end helicopter dust effects don't show up. I just use blastcore murr edited and tune down the particles depending on the mission. Even if my frames hate me for it. :P

Remove Stamina is a must-have, don't get me wrong, I like Arma for it's more realistic as Fortnite, COD or other BR or Casual Shooters, but the Stamina mechanic in vanilla Arma 3, is sometimes really too hard. Like you said sprint 10 yards with a 25lb backpack and end like a 50yo man that smokes since 40th years. ^^

WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER RAAAAHH. For real though idek where to start with this set of mods. A few of these mods I've discovered by myself, a few I found from your videos (like Align), and some I am just now finding them from this video. So many of these are permanent additions to my modlist it's crazy. Remove Stamina, while unrealistic is so much less noticeable than running out of stamina after jogging for 10 seconds. I personally prefer JSRS to Project SFX but they are both great mods. 3den Enhanced, ZEN, Arsenal Search, ZEC, Ladder Tweak, Improved Grenades, and Blastcore have never left my modlist after I found them. I once used AI Avoids Prone but have since replaced it with AI Cannot See Through Grass, by claudiopolez which does exactly what it advertises so the AI don't just sit there and let me shoot them but they can't accurately shoot back once they've hit the dirt on grassy terrains, it's a good balance I feel

I honestly wish the list for weapons and gear was bigger or at least showed things better when in game, maybe I missed that mod if it did show. Everything is small in the UI when looking for gear.
LAMBS_RPG is actually just a nightmare. Every engagement in KP Liberation turned into a gauntlet of surviving RPG volleys. Straight up too much and not fun.
Murr takes a lot more processing power (extra effects added) and it amplifies a lot faster when a lot of going on. Neetch is lighter but still pretty and doesn’t COMPLETELY tank FPS when a few explosions are happening.

Is there a way to tell what mods I can have without anyone else needing to have them? Some nice mids in this list but if I play with others do they need them too?
Anything that changes a UI feature or visual feature is usually clientside only. Anything that changes something in the environment, adds a physical object or changes the properties of an object is something you’ll have to all have loaded.
Hey. I am shilling my own mod. I recently released and just updated my Experimental Drugs (Ace) mod. It features a bunch of new performance enhancers for the soldiers fighting the never-ending altis war.
Highly recommend playing the game vanilla at least a few hours to get the understanding of most mechanics, otherwise you won’t really know what the mechanics mods are doing for you. Now vehicle/weapon/aircraft mods are a different story, you can enjoy those right away.
i can see the links at the bottom, but you started splitting up them up away from the timestamps a while ago. it gets difficult to figure out which one is which when theres 30+ mods being recommended. in the old days you had the links on the same line as the timestamp
It was my first pc game and I managed after years of console. Play the campaign that will get you set up for mos the movement and keybinds then you can go from there if it’s milsim you want or war hammer or Star Wars arma has it all.

Yeah, that is by design to let you know you’re at the end of the mag. In the virtual arsenal you can load Tracer mags into your backpack and vest, then in game drag one into your weapon and load it.
Im new to arma because hell let loose wouldnt work for my friend, can i use mods in single player scenarios? I wanna use the barrett In scenarios or any mods in general but i cant figure it out:/
Yes you can. Using the Echos Sandbox Anywhere mod you can hit “Y” in game to call up the Zeus interface. Then go under “Modules” and type “Arsenal” in the right hand search. Apply that to your character and you can outfight your guy with whatever you like!

I can't play Arma 3 without that mod anymore. The vanilla system was pretty lacking in regards to hit and flinching reactions

Enhanced Movement or its modded version is a must IMO. It makes zero sense that you can only "step over", instead of vault, climb over, jumping, etc.

So many of these are permanent additions to my modlist it's crazy. Remove Stamina, while unrealistic is so much less noticeable than running out of stamina after jogging for 10 seconds. I personally prefer JSRS to Project SFX but they are both great mods. 3den Enhanced, ZEN, Arsenal Search, ZEC, Ladder Tweak, Improved Grenades, and Blastcore have never left my modlist after I found them. I once used AI Avoids Prone but have since replaced it with AI Cannot See Through Grass, by claudiopolez which does exactly what it advertises so the AI don't just sit there and let me shoot them but they can't accurately shoot back once they've hit the dirt on grassy terrains, it's a good balance I feel

what blastcore do you think is better Murr or Neetch and why?
Murr takes a lot more processing power (extra effects added) and it amplifies a lot faster when a lot of going on. Neetch is lighter but still pretty and doesn’t COMPLETELY tank FPS when a few explosions are happening.

Anything that changes a UI feature or visual feature is usually clientside only. Anything that changes something in the environment, adds a physical object or changes the properties of an object is something you’ll have to all have loaded.

Highly recommend playing the game vanilla at least a few hours to get the understanding of most mechanics, otherwise you won’t really know what the mechanics mods are doing for you.
Now vehicle/weapon/aircraft mods are a different story, you can enjoy those right away.

i can see the links at the bottom, but you started splitting up them up away from the timestamps a while ago. it gets difficult to figure out which one is which when theres 30+ mods being recommended. in the old days you had the links on the same line as the timestamp
Weapons sound still lacks realistic effect which is expected arma 3, also the explosion effect still needs to reach to a realistic one
considering arma3 since its only a couple bucks. is it a tough learning curve?
It was my first pc game and I managed after years of console. Play the campaign that will get you set up for mos the movement and keybinds then you can go from there if it’s milsim you want or war hammer or Star Wars arma has it all.

Because Arma 3 is the only game innmy life I remember I used to play few years back with this mod and on WW2 theme mostly and I was for example on Carentan Relevant Map and I used to hear my boys while they were on combat and mostly on close combat to shouting exactly like we see on Real Life Footages or Videos today..

Just like on RL, we always see few sexonds of Explosions and more of them is Smoke, Unless if the Explosion happen on Large Petrol Tank Structures or hit ammo large packs then we have diadohical and Enormous Explosions and of course much more ground and Smoke spread through the Air! Oh Man keep up with these immersive show mods please.. I save money to get a new better Monster Machine just only for Arma 3!!!

Yeah, that is by design to let you know you’re at the end of the mag. In the virtual arsenal you can load Tracer mags into your backpack and vest, then in game drag one into your weapon and load it.

Yes you can. Using the Echos Sandbox Anywhere mod you can hit “Y” in game to call up the Zeus interface. Then go under “Modules” and type “Arsenal” in the right hand search. Apply that to your character and you can outfight your guy with whatever you like!
