Not really, the camera washers don't use any motors or electrics, just water pressure which is from the windscreen washer pump. Electric seats have been around since the 80s and are known to outlast the vehicle itself. The only thing that has a good chance of breaking after 10 years or so is the air suspension but that's the case with all air suspension in cars whether it is a range rover or a s class

I recently bought a low mileage 2008 BMW 525i for £7500. I also looked at equivalent mileage lexus GS's from a similar age and if anything they were slightly cheaper. Depreciation has more to do with demand than reliability. The GS is undoubtedly more reliable while offering more options than the BMW (like a reversing camera, electric tail gate and adaptive suspension all which weren't even options on the BMW) but the GS is ugly and not as hyped as the 5 series so not as much demand, hence the cheaper price.
So instead of putting the camera behind the logo they put a spraying system inside the logo to clean a camera that isn't protect from the elements? This is just idiotic.
You can smell the repair bills in all that luxury!
