    Thanks for this video!
    My fairly new Adams vibraphone has the same problem as you describe from second 45: the center bars are damped while the bars at the end are undamped. This occurs on both the accidental and natural bars. The dampening bar seems to be straight, so I have no idea why this happens.
    Do you know what could be the reason for this unequal dampening?

      My initial thought is that the rails need to be readjusted. Before you do that, make sure the cord is sitting in the suspension posts properly and that the rails are sitting on the frame correct. I’d also check to make sure the entire frame is put together correctly and then adjust the damper bar as shown in the video.
