@@samehora6864 I mean yeah that would be easier, but in the video he seemed pretty set on mounting it to the side of the frame, at which point a split tank is more functional than removing and adding and moving the def, fuel, and wet kit around.
put your oil tank in the neck on the rgn (you only need like a 5 gallon tank ) I got a talbert on the lot set up like than I can send you a pic if you need it. then all you need on the truck is the pto pump and hoses
Very nice, I'm happy for you, You've come a long way. I've hauled coal for 25+ years and heavy equipment, just my opinion. ( Which opinions are like aholes,Everybody's got one.) She's overbuilt. I hauled coal in the mountains of WV Pennsylvania and Kentucky with trucks with double frame, 46000# rears, 18spd and 650 cats, pulling 175 180k lbs. Don't really see anything needed that heavy duty needed in florida. But again, Congratulations, Happy for you.
Should look into trading that trailer in for a landoll tilt deck. No more worrying about your tanks or steps on the break over. And can load right to the tail without having to flip the ramps.
Looks good Bruce I passed you guys today in Louisville ky you were going north and I was going south holler at you on the radio trater taxi was looking sharp
Awesome Pete needs a strong name being a heavy haul truck you should have a contest and whom ever comes up with the best name wins what ever you decide.
I agree, Ive never liked the round headlights he put on the Tratter Taxi, i think he should either put some custom lights on (One of the ones that still have a identical shape to the factory 389 headlights, Or some 379 headlights with custom lenses on the Tratter Taxi..
I think it would look cool if you lightly smoke all the Chrome. Added some light gun metal Ghost flames and named it "Up In Smoke" or "Smok'n Pete" with the 420 birthday. ✌️
No Peterbilt offers black red blue from what I've seen most custom frames are done by different people (don't quote me on most of this I'm just going off of what I have seen)
Is there more benefits or downfalls to removing DEF from a truck, i drive a company truck and i have the only truck in the company that had the DEF system removed, what difference does it make?
Hey Bruce it's Jon are you going to be using the new truck to haul the pulling truck and tractor to the track or are you going to switch every now and then to the tractor taxi
For sure one nice Pete ! Can't wait to see it after the drop axle gets installed an all your other gadgets ! Be safe out there and thanks for sharing the journey with us ! ✌️❤️🙏
10:19 for the wet kit, don’t just eliminate a fuel tank, get a split tank that looks like one but functions as both
Id just do a tank across the frame behind the cab you could make a custom cover for it later on but do a all aluminum one and polish it out
@@samehora6864 I mean yeah that would be easier, but in the video he seemed pretty set on mounting it to the side of the frame, at which point a split tank is more functional than removing and adding and moving the def, fuel, and wet kit around.
Already has a split tank on passenger side
Honored to be the one to put the Tires on the Right hand side of that bad boy
Enjoy your PBILT and see you in a million miles
2024 would look so badass blacked out with a set of floats on the front
We make hydraulic tanks inside frame like Merrit makes for inframe battery boxes & they hold 60gals of hydraulic oil
Blue collar needs some love next. Rebuild the engine and driveline and get it painted.
Needs a drop axle now🔥
He gnna put one but factory doesn't offer them with disc brakes so, he's gnna add it & sum other things 2 it now that it has arrived!!!!!!
@@scottycollins18290p😅😅p😅❤
Not enough wheelbase for that
Who in the F would not order a factory lift axle because of disc brakes on the lift? It’s going to be in the air half of the time anyway
My thoughts exactly.@@TimHollis3006
beautiful rig and in 40 years or so will make a great will it start video for bruce jr! 🙂keep it in the family bro
I think in 40 yrs ,diesel fuel will be outlawed. Electric automatic pos equipment and uglyer n sh!t! That futuristic Peterbilt cringe!
Heavy haul would be 20,000 steer with a true double frame front to back you just got the job half done
put your oil tank in the neck on the rgn (you only need like a 5 gallon tank ) I got a talbert on the lot set up like than I can send you a pic if you need it. then all you need on the truck is the pto pump and hoses
The an RUclips vid of Trucking4Racers 389 grey Pete with how he did the hidden def tank behind driver cowl panel
I am looking forward to the Semi Casual Truck Show in August! It was awesome last year!
Spotted this man with this truck go by me in Northern Indiana
C500 tri drive with a Texas winch bed on it, is a heavy hauler for oil patch work.
Well you have Tratter taxi, Business Expense, and now you truly have "M-T-Pockets" Bruce for the new Truck.
I think it's name should be Darryl. As in this is my orher brother Darryl.
Very nice, I'm happy for you, You've come a long way.
I've hauled coal for 25+ years and heavy equipment, just my opinion.

Nice brother, wish I could drive that every day, I'm still trucking with a 2003
Truck looks brilliant 👌🏻 move the tanks up onto the catwalk behind the sleeper, have a cool tank/locker tower made up
Should look into trading that trailer in for a landoll tilt deck. No more worrying about your tanks or steps on the break over. And can load right to the tail without having to flip the ramps.
Nice ride brother!! I'm happy for y'all!!
Name the new pete the brute 💪🏾
Looks good Bruce I passed you guys today in Louisville ky you were going north and I was going south holler at you on the radio trater taxi was looking sharp
Bruce that's a nice truck but I have to say I think Blue Collar is the best truck you have
they need to touch up the paint
could you show more updates on the semi trek and new shop can I see the video of the semi casual show
Good looking trucks!! Thanks for the real stacks!
I’m just glad that thing has real exhaust it’s gonna sound good when you put some stacks on it 😂
More money than brains
Nice looking Heavy Duty ride from ..Newfoundland 🇨🇦
Now you can use Blue Collar, because you will have to grease the trailers you pull with this new truck since it doesn't have the aluminum hitch
Awesome Pete needs a strong name being a heavy haul truck you should have a contest and whom ever comes up with the best name wins what ever you decide.
That’s cute calling it a “heavy haul”. The Kenworths I work on at my dealer would laugh at this thing 😂
nice loading. good luck, and be safe.
The blue collar interior is insane so
Tratter taxi needs some 359 headlight. Those round puppies ain’t it. Sign the lug caps, to sweeten the deal.
I agree, Ive never liked the round headlights he put on the Tratter Taxi, i think he should either put some custom lights on (One of the ones that still have a identical shape to the factory 389 headlights, Or some 379 headlights with custom lenses on the Tratter Taxi..
No the round head lights look so much better
Junior would be a decent name for the new truck. Cheers !
Specd the same as my concrete mixer with one exception. Mine is only 425 hp isx12.....
I love the new 2024 pet I'm happy for you keep up the good work.
Nice truck, it needs a matching grill, headlights
Really nice truck, Bruce. I appreciate you sharing, buddy 👍
Need to put some of those sweet wheel covers on that rig protect that paint son !
I think it would look cool if you lightly smoke all the Chrome. Added some light gun metal Ghost flames and named it "Up In Smoke" or "Smok'n Pete" with the 420 birthday. ✌️
It's a Heavy Haul Truck so it has balls Name it BLUE BALLS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Put the hydraulic tank inside the frame behind the sleeper. Put def tank inside driver side cowl panel.
Saw in Indiana I was in a white dodge with a mower on the trailer
Hell yea
Looks great. Although side by side, the original lights look better IMHO.
Nice truck love nothing better then blue and no such thing as to much blue
I had a hand in building that truck!!!!😊😊
So that’s why it has issues😂😂 jkjk
I really do think the bigger stacks look better on the older truck 😊
19:48 is that cobbled up welding?
So what you going to do with the Freightliner cabover
Smurf sounds like a good name
SUPER CONGRATS!!!!! Plz change those ALIEN HEADLITES!!!!!! Cnt wait 2 see it COMPLETELY DONE with ALL the goodies!!!!!!!!!!
Old truckers never die:
They just get a new Peterbilt !!
I will bet this will be the biggest chrome shop on I-40 in a couple years!
Honk the horn honk, the horn honk the horn🙂🙂🙂🙂🙃

Very nice beautiful new rig you have there Bruce. Congratulations! It should serve you well in your endeavors.
Blue Collar sounds good for the name....

That trailer needs to be blue also with chrome accents.
and put the factory bumper off the first truck on the new truck please
keep the clips coming
Is that the only color blue frame that they offer from Peterbilt from the factory?? I noticed that on the TratterTaxi an it’s the same on New Blue.
No Peterbilt offers black red blue from what I've seen most custom frames are done by different people (don't quote me on most of this I'm just going off of what I have seen)
Call it the blue goose
Damn brand new and it's already got rust I would make them touch up the paint😅😅😂😂
Tri drive , put the power to the ground !
Congratulations brother name it (Blue Dog)
Blue big boy 😂😂 that name
Is there more benefits or downfalls to removing DEF from a truck, i drive a company truck and i have the only truck in the company that had the DEF system removed, what difference does it make?
It’s a ripper 👍
Wouldn’t a heavy haul be a double frame truck, tri drive or lift axle, heavy duty front end? Looks like a truck that’s be pulling a dry van.
Great video Bruce
Where is the show going to be at
Hey Bruce it's Jon are you going to be using the new truck to haul the pulling truck and tractor to the track or are you going to switch every now and then to the tractor taxi
I know it’s still a lot of work Whst y’all do nowadays but man it’d be fun 😂
For sure one nice Pete ! Can't wait to see it after the drop axle gets installed an all your other gadgets !
Be safe out there and thanks for sharing the journey with us ! ✌️❤️🙏
I would try to put a "steerable" lift axle on it
Flat top looks good
