Some time ago I have build my Asrock X300. I worked perfectly with a Samsung monitor connected via HDMI, and the sound worked perfectly with headset, sound via ears and sound out via microphone using the front panel connectors. Recently bought AOC 24P2Q Monitor. This monitor is also connected via HDMI. Now there is no sound via the front panel at all! In the monitor there is Audio in and out - I can hear the sound via headset (not loud enough) and via an external loudspeaker. There is no way to talk via the microphone. Is it a problem of the monitor? Will I have the same problem using any other monitor that has audio plug in connectors? Is the sound coming via the HDMI and cancels the front connectors of my X300? If I will connect the AOC monitor via the D-sub port will I have the same problem?
I have a AOC 27P2C connected to AsRock X300 machine. I have connected the machine via Display port and I am able to get sound via the monitor as well as using external speakers connected via the monitor. But I can confirm that the front panel audio jack does not work when the said monitor is connected.
What is your full load temperature? can you go on for hours playing intense graphics without having the GPU shut down on you due to overheat? Because overheat is one of the main issue with the Deskmini X300 and the X300 Jupiter..
@@nitehawk4067 thanks man. I've bought 3000 ram which turned out to be spectek chips, but I easily can get to 3400 with pretty low timings on my asrock x300! Still more testing to do, though
@@macktech436 actually on 3600 mhz now. Tight timings, but working ok. Need some cooling, though...but temperature is acceptable for ddr4. Voltage is 1.25v
You will get the stock cooler with X300 but I will suggest to get the Noctua Low profile cooler. Also the X300 is barebone PC, so you would need to buy CPU, RAM, SSD and WiFi card at least.
@@furanseyon7762 Hi mine is on 24/7 it is never powered down. It is quick mine has an NVME HDD 16 gig ddr4 3200mhz with the Ryzen 5 3400g with Vega 11 graphics, The Noctua keeps everything cool. not seen temps above 32c. Mine has been on for over 6 months now with no problems.
Nice build appreciate your work! :) Can u build a custom build mini ITX gaming PC with a radiator liquid cooling with asrock x570 phantom gaming itx tb3 motherboard!! :)

Is sleep enabled in windows?
Did not get any GPU stability issue like some people with the H110 and X300?
Nope, I did not have any issues with GPU. I am using this Built for past 3 months without any issues.
How about power usage
Hello, do you have problems with aleatory reboots? What memory you use? Thanks
I don't have any problems with reboots. Also I am using 32GB ram, 16 GB * 2 with speed of 3200.
@@macktech436 Hi, thanks for the reply. I found out that my CPU was defective and I changed it, now it works well too.

X300 has 2 m.2 slots as well you can connect 2 SATA drives.
Btw does the Wi-Fi module came together with the Asrock X300 unit or did you bought it separately?
