I'm an Italian man who grew up listening to Gue and Club Dogo's albums - It was unique hearing him speaking English and speaking and having fun so freely without being as controlled as he is while giving interviews in Italy. I've always felt like he could sense he wasn't fully understood in our country and so he kept most of his private and funny side to himself. G capitale a true legend
Great interview as always, think it’s the first time I saw Gue opening up on his life. You can clearly see he’s outspoken and very true to self. I don’t think he get recognized for what he’s done for the italian rap scene enough. Real ones know tho.
Guè is the greatest italian rapper ever. Every album he drops out become an instant classic, moreover he is quite smart and you can recognize every thing he says it's true. He has experienced everything and every italian rapper knows it and respects him. Great interview!
I am an American living in Italy and I love Måneskin, I love their Italian songs so much more than their English songs. I know many people that don't even speak Italian and they also prefer their Italian songs. I don't understand why it is so popular with Italians to hate on other Italians. Be proud of what your fellow countrymen do, there is plenty of music I don't really care for, but I never spread hate or even diss them or the people who like them.
It's not a matter of hate, it's a matter of being realistic..Maneskin are nothing special ,imo. Specials were Nirvana , Alice in Ch., Pixies, The Smiths, Screaming Trees ,Korn, Nine Inch Nails.
Listened to every name you mentioned and we have all your artists in France 😂 and had them way before but much love anyway. The only one I truly loved is actually Guè. Discovered Geôlier too and he is dope.
Guys , neapolitan is not a Dialect "Although in common parlance it continues to be defined dialect, Neapolitan has now been definitively decreed by UNESCO to be an authentic language. This decision was not made instinctively, as one might think, but is the result of a long pondering. According to industry scholars and linguists, the Neapolitan dialect is to be considered the second official language in Italy. This is also thanks to the fame and glory that still today preserve the Neapolitan melodic songs of the past (which have traveled the world)."
