    This is a nice idea to use a sand basin to start with. I am thinking about a long-term video project, where I could possibly be borrowing from this idea :)

      I think I´m gonna use some
      paint on the grey cement

      @@KennetDeBondt acrylic works well on cement once it's properly dry.

    Wow, that came out great! Will you seal it with anything or just leave it as it? Can’t wait to see what you plant in it…any species in mind?

      I was thinking about a fieldmaple group in it.

    If you add concrete pigment to the cement as you mix it you may be able to match the color of the stones and avoid having to paint over the concrete later.
