Thanks for the great video. Your plunger tube was definitely too tight compared to the others we've got. As always, we're here to help anyone who experiences issues or needs replacement parts. We're also relaying all feedback from customers directly to Sabre to improve future quality control!

YOU SHOULD TRY A 30K SPRING AND 700MM BARREL. WITH THE RIGHT DART, YOU CAN DO 550FPS.

Using a milspec buffer tube and castle nut to get it where you want it is what I'd recommend. Make up a spring rest to slot inside using some pipe and you're good to go with an M4 stock.

Bradley Phillips has a build guide for the Apex Prime it's a good watch and will help you out if you need it

Definitely and I did use it. The written directions are pretty terrible.

Great video! I've been enjoying my Apex for about a week now. I think the big shortcoming in the instructions is not clarifying what size screws go where. I spent a lot of time figuring out what fit where, partly because I got a huge pile of extra screws. I even got stuff that, as far as I can tell, don't belong on the blaster at all. Maybe Out of Darts is to blame for that.
Anyway, I took my Apex apart to see how the internals were doing. Sounds like there's some manufacturing inconsistency because my plunger tube came back apart pretty easily. A did notice that the 8 socket screws on the linear guides were undoing themselves. The instructions don't mention thread lock, but they definitely need it. I also noticed that the screw holding the priming bar to the block was slightly bent. I replaced it with a spare but I'm thinking of upgrading to higher strength steel.
Regarding the trigger, a washer on the hinge pin and a 1/32" shim at the front will eliminate nearly all slop.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the followup.

Cool looking piece for the wall. yep, shoots a zillion fps. The UX design person who let this thing out of the factory should be fired. Every review I have seen of this is singing it's praises but I think that's because people are blinded by the name and the fact that they spent so much money. The truth is that it is poorly designed and not particularly good. Trigger guard missing, Grip mount is atrocious, Mag well too tight and not flared, 30 different kinds of screws, terrible build instructions, mag release ergonomics, front grip mount too far back to not slam your hand into the mag, two misaligned off the shelf pic rails from some other thing, it comes with a terrible outdated SCAR barrel attachment and the worst of all... the stock mount is AWEFUL. sure it's pretty... but wait until you played a few games and tell me how much you appreciate the fancy new scratch magnet. $475 stock, MIN $100 to make it usable at all.
For this much money and effort this is probably one of the WORST blasters you can buy. Don't be blinded by the shiny, this thing is terrible.

I'm glad someone spoke it out. But you didn't mention the maintenance of this thing. How on earth do you keep that piece of industrial machinery clean and lubed, and make sure that all of the 1000 screws are still sitting in place after some weeks of heavy usage?

It also has terrible ergo, a very loose magwell and a stupidly heavy trigger.

Their Rep At MM this weekend was pretty much a joke. Dude knew absolutely Nothing about the Hobby or how a Springer even functions.

@@moddancerspartanyogi1398 The blasters are usually fugly and uncomfortable but built like a brick outhouse. Seems the Apex trigger can have a slight bite cause of the way it resets after firing. Probably want to wear gloves when using it.

That is a slick blaster, but for the cost I feel like the shortcomings should be more minor. I know there will never be a perfect blaster for everyone, but when you start getting to this price it should be much closer to perfection.
    Great video!

How fast is a pro26 spring + k14 spring together in fps?

Could try the magpul moe or moe-k2 grip with the tail on tgem to make it more of a comfortable grip and not risk pinching

The price, though. That's actually ridiculous. I mean, it's still a springer. No fancy tech there, no innovation, just a DIY assembly kit for the price of 2-3 Worker Harriers. Oh boy.
