Now, the cool thing about the OC5, is that if you turn the -2 Octave knob all the way to the left, it will play an octave on the lowest note in a chord ONLY. If you play single notes, it will do the octaves as usual. Now, it's not perfect, but it works pretty well for me (I use it at solo gigs with acoustic guitar), and I think your picking style would lend itself well to that setting. 🎸
