Hi! How are you? You guys know this piece? A few weeks ago, my subscriber who helped me a lot requested me to play this piece. I didn’t play this piece before. While practicing, I felt that this piece is so beautiful. Chopin did not make the title “Aeolian Harp”. When Schumann heard this piece, he praised this work and coined for it the name “Aeolian Harp”. There is the other name “Shepherd Boy” This title is originated from the anecdote: When student asked him about this piece, Chopin advised a pupil to picture a shepherd boy taking refuge in a grotto to avoid a storm playing the melody on his flute. I hope that you guys like this performance! Take care and keep healthy! Thank you!! Have a great day!
Hello kassia i love you❤❤❤
Plase play Op.25 No.12 im studying it now
Im good
You too kassia
Its absolutely stunning, kassia. I admire your work! :)
Mysteries that people cannot solve:
- the interior of black hole
- how kassia and rousseau do the effects
Or use led lights as well
Both of them does synthesia really really well

This is my favorite piano piece of all time. My father, who just recently passed away, was an accomplished pianist. And he would play this piece to perfection. He spent so, so much time getting his interpretation just right. Lately, as I've been revisiting memories of my father, I've been searching the internet to hear this piece performed. I found many who have shared it online. But when I came across your page here, Kassia, I just couldn't leave it. I have repeated your rendition of this piece over and over again. You, Kassia, clearly "get it". I would just like to offer you a heartfelt "thank you".
:(( Im sorry for ur loss :( 😔😢😔😞
Sorry for your loss 😢 God bless His soul by the way Listen liebestratum no.3 by Liszt
it's the time for you to shine, pinky finger...
I'm literally trying to learn this piece now lmao... It is considered one of Chopin's "easy" etudes.
Lol looks like everyone is leaning this
@@charlesjd like I said, it's his easiest etude lmao. Almost everyone starts with this or Tristesse. But I suspect many people will also give up xD
@@zoltano_cortez Nice channel by the way. I'm your 118th sub
@@zoltano_cortez nah lament is way easier than both. Op 10 no 6.
This piece (aeolian harp) has quite a few polyrhythms (6 vs 4, even 6 vs 5). You also have to learn how to use your pinky, the weakest finger, to play notes louder than all other fingers. If you just play everything at the same volume, you don’t get that single-note melody that rises above the rest of the sounds.
And tristesse has that mini-coda with the fast intervals being played in both hands
But lament has no technical difficulties. The only thing that makes it remotely difficult is the key signature, Eb minor. But that’s not actually more difficult to play, just more difficult to read
my First etude was butterfly, is not so bad as it seems
Who else is always blown away by the visuals?
This recording is hands down the best version of this piece. Your dynamics, voicing and how you play that augmented chord are incredible, and the climax section is unbeatable. Great job!
Such an exquisite melody - so original, and the harp-like arrangement is perfection. I think I’ve heard over 90% of Chopin’s works and only a few I don’t quite get - most range from charming to utterly magnificent.
I love how Kassia responds and reads comments even after becoming such a huge channel and it has become difficult. Really shows us how much she cares! Have a good day Kassia!
I'm ACTUALLY learning this right now!
You can do:) Thank you!💕
Same too
@@Kassiapiano you guy are all awesome I’m learning proper Advanced Fur Elise on piano as a 7 years old
@@jarzebinka76 Good luck young pianist!

Ahh, the only piece I remember studying after 10 years in a music school. I don't play much piano anymore, but I wish I could find the energy and motivation to get those rusty fingers moving again
You should start again
Just go for it
I agree, I think you should try to play again!
I've spent 40 years struggling with the notes of the right hand. You're a disgrace😊
Damn Chopin was a genius he really made the piano sound like a harp incredible!
He sure did, and so did Kassia.
Mhm. Listen to ravel's "ondine", there are some parts there where the piano completelt sounds like a harp
@Die Wilde Jagd okay and?
Yeah, Kassia said that this piece was originally called Sheperd Boy, Schumann was the real genius.
well technically a piano is just a harp with buttons
We want more Chopin! (btw I love the colour of the notes)
Thank you:) I love it, too:)💕
Maybe more Chopin on Valentine's day? ❤️💞💕
@@dianamarcekova9615 the implications...of..that... 💀😳
@@Isa-tn7ex Because I requested to her to play Romance by Chopin on Valentine's day. It is a piece which I found last year in September.
@@dianamarcekova9615 Oh, that’s amazing!! I love that concerto.
Hey kassia! My daughter was inspired by kassia. After piano class, she would listen to your music everyday! She almost watched every one of your videos.
Majestic sounds generated by the flowing arpeggios. This doesn’t get old.
Aaahhh...Chopin! Nothing better for the piano. The feelings he can elicit with his compositions can cover virtually every human emotion. This is my favorite Etude!
I’m in love with this piece. I always say that piano sounds like water in some way or another… and this one sounds like clouds🙂
Chopin and Kassia... The duo that makes you forget about everything
One of my favorite Chopin’s Etude 😍
This was the composition that made me wanted to play piano, I cannot even explain how I feel while hearing it
Another beautiful etude from Chopin. Well done Kassia :)
Thank you, Klaus!!💕
Kassia plays .....and relax ! The Kassia we all know and love is starting to relax and enjoy playing again . Thankyou .
This is absolutely amazing!! So beautiful! Made us smile from the first note! 💕

I discovered this piece yesterday, thought "I would love kassia to play this" and you did it! You're amazing kassia you're one of my greatest inspirations!
I'm nearly in the end to learn all this piece. Beautiful interpretation as always, Kassia!
Thank you, Tio Zeno!!:)💕
That long appreggio on the end is going to kill me
Not even a minute in and it already sounds amazing
I’m loving these effects, the quality is superb. I might play this one day but never as well as this! Amazing, as always!
Thank you for your words, Logan!!:) I am glad that you like the effect.💕
Yesss Kassia! Thank you for playing one of my favorite Chopin's etude beautifully, precisely and elegantly!
Omg!!! I love this , I can’t wait to learn to play this. You played it so beautifully!
gives me Goosebumps at 1:01
great playing, great job.
There are two types of people here watching this:
Those who are here to listen
And those who are *learning it*
is it hard ?
If you’re learning the Etude from this video instead of sheet music, there is already something wrong
@@moon200070 I think that's not what the person meant.
I'm sorry but your pfp has me wheezing ✋💀

There are some Chopin songs that are beautiful 😌
Simply amazing to watch these beautiful hands in theseshining effect...so impressive and Chopin's fantastic music! I'm impressed by this performance!
haha Im in ELA rn and listening to this. I'd also like to say, you are actually the reason why I started piano! Your winter wind video did strike something in me, so thank you for uploading it :)
Hey! I'm not sure if you will even read this, but some time ago I've listened to a piano arrangement of the Erlkönig by Liszt, and it was really fascinating to hear the different characters through the music and capture the very bleak atmosphere.
Erlkönig is a quite famous ballade here in Germany, and pupils often have to learn it by heart. It deals with a father with his sick son in his arms riding towards a court to save him. Meanwhile the son is influenced by the Erlkönig who wants him. Reading the text is very interesting but also traumatizing in a way. There are various different interpretations of this ballade, discussing who the Erlkönig might be, some say it is a fever dream and the hallucination of the son, others say it's puberty manipulating the son into losing his innocence. Maybe you can have some fun with it^^
I am so in love with your hands😍😍😍
OMG YES I LOVE THIS PIECE - manvir 💕
Hi, Manvir:) thank you for your support all the time!💕
Sir Fryderyk Chopin is the pride of Poland! The whole country is very proud of him!
An absolute masterpiece.
One of the most beautiful piece composed by Chopin ... even it's just an 'etude'. Beauty in simplicity !
I´m trying to learn this piece now, but how he performs it is unreal.

This song is very calm
true
I got an advert before this video using the exact piece 😂
Chopin is my favourite, i try to play all the nocturnes, beautiful!
MAGNIFICENT! My spirit is elevated with these ascending, joyous sounds ... as if seeing my precious Lord Jesus very soon! HEAVENLY!
I'll never get bored of listening to your performances, amazing job!
You’re so fast at learning pieces! This literally almost put me me to sleep 😴
@@zinebmzali4538 I love that
I admire anyone who even attempts this incredibly difficult piece, especially when they bring out the beautiful melody above all those oppositional arpeggios. Thank you for showing us how it is done.
its not incredibly difficult id say its on the lower end of the other chopin etudes
Amazing interpretation of this piece and cool visuals btw :)
Thank you, Michael!!💕
Man i love kassia, kassia is even supporting a channel that has like 200views on a single video, ill try my best to play good as you one day but i doubt i can do it though, but i will still try, Love you kassia (from japan)

1:28 hits me in the gut everytime
Ahhh I picked this piece up a couple of days ago. Lovely playing Kassia!
Excuse me but how ?!
How can you be this talented ?! 🤩
The first time I heard this piece was during the closing credits of the film, "The Turning Point". Prima Ballerina Leslie Browne danced to it as the credits rolled. Perfect ending to a wonderful film.
Woah the colour is so good.
Also reminds me of Xiao colour
Thank you!!💕

Thank you~:)💕
Impressive you learned this in a few weeks!
Omg haha I was waiting for this
I am good to hear that:)💕
Oh I’ve been waiting for this one
0:19 I remember these couple of bars were nasty to master. good job!
Edit: I just realized you were using your 3rd finger instead of the fourth for that part. It is easier when I use my 3rd, however I tried to keep using my fourth (extremely uncomfortable for me) just to try and "do the right thing", because if the composer did it, I have to be able to do it too because I'm competitive like that lol.
Woooooooooooo, I LOVE this Etude. Thank you for playing it Kassia! I always enjoy your music!
Absolutely beautiful! 😍 💕
Soooo good!
Thank you so much, Stephen!!:)💕
i personally think kassia did this piece the best!

Thank you, Mario!!:)💕
Hi Kassia! Wow, this piece is beautiful! Never heard of it before.
So beautiful. Speechless.
Thank you so much for your words. It means a lot to me:)
I like to think of some of Chopin's music as kind of jazzy or a precursor to jazz. I mean that was quite a jazzy ending there!
Great performance. I practice to this video! Thank you!
Wow. I know and like this piece. Probably I'll play this in the future :)
Thank for other great upload Kassia! :)

この曲、本当にきれい・・・。
Kassia, I'm beyond impressed by this performance! The technique looks astonishing! As a classical guitarist, I have a great love for the great piano Masters. The left hand looks absolutely deadly lol. I'd never heard this Etude before. I've just finished polishing up Bach's 2 and 3 part inventions which have obviously been revoiced to suit the guitar. Some if it is quite deadly, but glorious!! I'm so glad to have been introduced to this Chopin Etude. Only Chopin could have made a finger exercise this beautiful
When I close my eyes and listen to this beautiful music I see a picture by Claude Monnet or some of the other French impressionists.
It’s definitely a good starting piece if one is to start learning Chopin Etudes. Wonderful as always Kassia!
Such a beautiful etude.
Seems like everyone here is learning this piece
