      Yes, air conditioning is included. So is heated seat, front and back, heated wheel, 8 cameras and sentry mode watching out for your car 24/7 for a tiny bit of power. Cruise controll , called auto pilot, is also included and tinted back and rear windows and sun roof, which is the largest in the automotive world. GPS is included and navigation which can locate and take you to a Tesla supercharger and on the way it will tell you how many chargers are at the station, how many are currently charging a car and if any of these chargers are broken and the cost of the charger per kwh and a 24 view of charging times and prices, so you can see the least expensive time to charge. This LR MY has 4 wheel drive and a switch for slip control in icy conditions. Entertainment screen with RUclips, Netflix, I added hulu and blue tooth connect your phone for spotify, Pandora, and now apple car something. I'm an android guy. AND SO MUCH MORE....

    What's an aerodynamic wheels?

    • @johnsord-xp3ij
      @johnsord-xp3ij 5 месяцев назад +2

      Wow, I can't believe you asked this. So if you keep a sleek, aerodynamic line in the car ( like an airplane ), it will cause the air to flow over the entire car. By doing this, the cars resistance is reduced and less energy used. The covers on the wheels make the wheel well less likely to catch air and thus reduce drag. If you look at big 18 wheel trucks, often you can see what looks like cardboard on the side from the driver's cab back at about 4 feet off the ground level. This straight board is a device to make the big trucks more aerodynamic and increases mileage by keeping the air flowing on the outside of the truck. This aerodynamic shape came out of the aviation industry, and you can see it in nature in birds and sea creatures like fish or whales because things move through air exactly the same way they move through water. Geeez kid , I thought everyone knew that. FYI ..I am a pilot, but I work in healthcare.

    • @ProXcaliber
      @ProXcaliber 11 месяцев назад +3

      Average price of a new car in America is 50k. This is around that price and with the tax incentive it can come in at 43k. You got a lot of stuff for that 43k, which I think is well worth the cost. Plus the amount of money you save on fuel and maintenance as well.

    • @friendlymods6567
      @friendlymods6567 11 месяцев назад

      @@ProXcaliber were talking outlasting/ more reliable. Power grid goes down and your tesla is practically useless, along with for how many sensors/electrical is in the car something is bound to start to go wrong, let alone the battery's longevity not being even close to a reliable engines. Only practical in warmer weather places that don't have much dust/pollution.

    • @ProXcaliber
      @ProXcaliber 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@friendlymods6567 Everything you just said makes no sense, as it's all been proven to be false or inaccurate.
      If the power grid goes down, you are SOL with gas too, since you need power to pump the gas out of the tanks in the ground. Not to mention, if the grid is down, there are probably a lot bigger problems at hand then power, and fuel will likely be rationed.
      Most modern cars, not just EVs, have a ton of sensors and electronics in them. This has nothing to do with reliability or longevity, and it's often more to do with the owner and how they care for and maintain their car. Most people don't even take the time to wash their car, let alone maintain it mechanically so that nothing does go wrong.
      As for battery longevity, I'll just leave you with this video which explains it much better than I can, ruclips.net/video/UXwtlKHSefk/видео.html

    • @friendlymods6567
      @friendlymods6567 11 месяцев назад

      @@ProXcaliber Made pretty clear sense. Cold weather has shown and been proven to cut battery longevity along with higher tempature states have been proven to bake the lithium in the battery's causing loss in total power stored to the cells. Albeit powered pumps do run off electricity. They can in itself be ran off gas generators where as the power stations for charging wouldn't be able to unless setup for solar/Wind. Overall newer cars and trucks do all fault when more and more electronics are added/ and are introduced to dirtier environments. All in all, Can still no matter what buy a car, half the price. Not as a new. And still outrun any tesla. Unless you live in a perfect weather state the battery will go before the electrical motors more than likely if maintained. Still would need suspension maintenence and the whole nine yards.

    • @ProXcaliber
      @ProXcaliber 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@friendlymods6567 You are conflating longevity with range. These two things are not the same. Battery longevity is how long the battery will last throughout its life, whereas battery range is how far you can go on a single charge.
      It's true that EV batteries do struggle with range in extreme environments, but this is steadily improving with things like better battery temperature management systems and battery chemistries. The new LFP battery packs, for example, are MUCH better at dealing with these extremes than the standard lithium battery packs. I personally own a Tesla Model Y Long Range, and happen to live in Florida, where these days it hits 100+ degrees Fahrenheit on a regular basis. And I have not seen or experienced these things you mentioned for heat, even when parked outside most of the day.
      I don't know what kind of environments you are driving in, that would cause sensors to fail so reliably, but if that is the case then you are likely the minority of vehicle owners. Most people do not put their vehicle through extreme environments for extended periods of time, and more often than not, if it's cleaned and maintained properly, then those issues can be mitigated very easily.
      What suspension maintenance? When was the last time you maintained suspension on any car less than 5 years of ownership? Sure, there are some regular maintenance items, like rotating tires, and refilling wiper fluid. But they are nowhere near as complicated or expensive as a gas car can be. And batteries have already been proven to be holding their range at 90% or more after 200,000 miles or 5 years of ownership.
      I also don't know what you're buying for 40k to 50k that can beat a Tesla in performance, but it must be one hell of a beater. In which case, you'd be paying a ton on maintenance just to keep the thing on the road, let alone race it all the time.

      Batteries are still expensive to make. But on the flip side, they're much cheaper to run. In Europe where I live, electricity prices have been _negative_ most Sundays over the summer due to excess power production from renewables.

    • @ProXcaliber
      @ProXcaliber 11 месяцев назад

      The reason they are so expensive is because the batteries and manufacturing is still expensive. Just look at the Chevy bolt for example, it was very cheap but Chevy had to stop making it and change the price because they were losing massive amounts of money on it.

    • @williamrogers1219
      @williamrogers1219 11 месяцев назад

      You forget the $7,500 tax credit and in some states such as Oregon, Colorado, and California, one can purchase a Model 3 for the same price as a Honda Civic or Accord. None of those vehicles will have the technology as the Model 3.
