I was actually introduced to the game by someone telling me about the original soundtrack. Kenichiro Fukui is up there with Norio Hanzawa in terms of god tier Japanese electronic composers. Oh, and of course the legendary Yuzo Koshiro.
Yuzo Koshiro's current works involve the excellent Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune arcade cabinet series of games. Used to play it at the local arcade, but I still get the OST's of each installment.
I was introduced by simply a random pick by my dad in a store. Probably someone said it was good, or he just liked the cover. He had just brought me my favorite game and genre.
I'm sorry, but if I ever do another Einhänder song it'll be a Messhuggah-style Madness or Factory arrange. These songs are really hard to arrange for some reason so I'm not sure I'll ever attempt another one - even Shudder had a couple of parts where I seriously had no idea what I was doing and it was incredibly frustrating.
It would be awesome if someone upload this song with that sinister robot voice (wich starts with the music in the game) just before you engage the boss
I honest was about to try it, but the sound fx I founded on yt ( ruclips.net/video/oVtWeGW02vI/видео.html ) showed me that part of the voice fx is made in game, so the audio files isnt like we expect (especially the first one you asked for ;-; )

I'll double that. This remix, as well as the original, are too epic to describe. Both tracks are some of the best I have ever heard in a video game, period. Every time I hear "shudder," I instantly remember being blown away by the short demo of the game containing this almighty music. Owning the game is a masterpiece, largely due to "shudder" and its impression it has lead on all of us.
No problem, i had no idea that it was that difficult to do this, it's kinda hard to tell just from hearing it, and based on the quality of this version i thought it was a piece of cake for you. XD I can live with only this one alright ;)
This is a pretty good cover/arrange version. I approve. Still, I miss the rap of the original. A blend of the original with this that preserves the vocals would be pretty fantastic.
You can find the lyrics in a different upload of the original shudder song (it's 5 minutes long, even though the song is only like 2 minutes and the rest is just silence), in a comment posted by a MrFX313. He got one line backwards (it's "I'm Mr. Hot Rapper" not "I'm hot Mr. Rapper"), but otherwise he absolutely nailed it AFAIK.
The original rap sample has been found, if you're still interested in including the rap (ruclips.net/video/kc93xVGIfac/видео.html) It's heavily edited, of course. People have been scouring the internet for nearly a decade to find this sample, it's done at last.

I know I'm necro'ing an incredibly old video, but if you (or anyone else) ever wants to give this another take, the rap track for Einhänder's Shudder wasn't actually recorded for it, specifically. It was just a random track from a random sampler CD that to japanese ears just sounded cool enough after burying it below a pile of sound effects. Here's the specific track that was used: web.archive.org/web/20150102201316/www.inspirationsounds.co.uk/mp3-demos/masterbits-rapsody-vocals-2.mp3 It is from "Masterbits RAPsody Vocals II Sample CD". That said, I'd much rather a remix re-record the rap part to have proper meaningful lyrics. _You don't necessarily have to voice the concerns of an african-american man's life in the ghetto to get the Einhänder feel._ Just apply enough sound effects to the point where nobody would notice when you said f**k in a game ESRB-rated E.
I've already been provided the sample long ago but I'm doubtful I'll ever remake this track. If I ever re-master it at some point I'll play around with the rap but I think this sounds fine without it. Thanks for the effort though.

Nah. If you have a single molecule of testosterone in your body this song shouldn't seem for the mentally unwell at all. This is the type of song blasting in a combat talon, headed for the levant, carrying SEAL teams, gearing up to HALO jump, kick some doors, and stack some bodies.
