I was actually surprised DMZ wasn't a bigger hit. It had a little bit of everything and casual enough for a wide audience.
Activision fumbled the bag with it because most people tried it only when it first came out and never bothered again. But any person who put some time into it will tell you its goated
Exactly it was but the sweaty players and streamers wiping the map instead of doing missions and contracts, they say I'm done, OK? So nobody else can do theirs because your done? I had 5 friends but the game and was stoked to get them TY play and they won't do it, it's no fun getting spawn rushed, xfill camping and jus sweaty players that won't go play wz, br, plunder or multi player they come here and need it up... it's a done deal
@@morganW2012 thats a skill issue tho to be fair. Game has always been like that, at least for me on EU. Being friendly was never really a thing. And i always play solo too. You can just learn how to evade them and its honestly not that hard.
Ive been doing missions and still am, its not bad. Besides i enjoy failing alot and restarting. It gives a lot of replayability. If u ever played hard games you know that u have to die and restart many times to get to your goal. What i like about DMZ is that usually each failure is different so i am more interested as i never know whats gonna happen

Same here… i was so tired of warzone…. DMZ brought me back to COD! The Zombies mode in MW3 is a copypaste of DMZ, they could have made so much more of this mode!!!
That's why even though I own Tarkov I haven't gotten into it. Need games with less of a time investment to be able to enjoy it with life being busy. Most normal people have work and family commitments.
My crew and I have possibly finally hit the wall. We are casual, playing once or maybe twice per week together and that's it. Our weekly game night has become pretty frustrating since the Sweatlords (aside from Johnny here LOL) have really latched on. I think we are gonna bounce to greener pastures. It's a bummer for us since we've been playing since launch but hey there's always other stuff out there to play together.

This is interesting. Any time I exfil'd with spare vests, they didn't stick. Instead they converted to cash. Maybe my account was bugged, but I never knew vests could be stockpiled.
Dmz manages to do so many things right and offers players with varying skill sets to compete in some really great level design. Yes there are glitches and one shotties, but that’s part of the game and it’s fun to try and win against those that play that way. As many have said, it’s a real shame that DMZ has been abandoned by activision and isn’t seeing any further updates…but whilst the servers remain online I am sure there will be a loyal and dedicated community around it.
Had a great few solo runs yesterday, then we ran Building 21 and beat back the grenade launcher crew to get the case and the hostage. Played it for ages and still love it, absolutely there are eejits playing but still well worth playing, well played Phixate!
Totally with you on the whole Vest - Diaper analogy lol I’ve played with some randoms who were actually pretty decent but for the life couldn’t understand to pick up a new vest.
I think its glitched, sometimes teammates vests do not show on your screen
@@jamesrawl3648 that only happens in like the first 5 mins of the game then fixes itself… he literally just didn’t pick up a vest 😂
I wish there will do something with dmz it's a good game mode by itself it could just be a spin-off from call of duty franchise
You might be interested in the challenge I am doing in DMZ, No guns no bits do a mission then exful work up to10 perks not solo. Could make a good stream.

I've played this game since day one, every day.. and the last 4 months it feels the game is trying to get you to quite, like if it's not spawning with your weapons it's losing gun fights after emptying a mag in their face to glitching on ladder timing out, players snap scoping time and time I've played enough to know when it's bs jus so much every game i really think they want us to quit

I have at least begun to move on from DMZ occasionally. I still spend around 50% of my gaming time there, but the other 50% is on Helldivers 2 now. Burning bugs in PvE can be kinda relaxing after getting washed all evening on Mazrah.

the australian dmz server is quicker and takes seconds to get an australian lobby at 24m/s ping in comparison to mwz at 200 m/s and can take up to a minute and is usually a chinese or North American lobby so plenty of aussies still invested in the mode

I honestly don't understand why they didn't invest more into DMZ. I mean, I get it, two studios, already working on the next game, blah blah blah. The truth is that DMZ had the potential to become like TF2 or Fortnite - a game that people play for a long time and keep spending money on indefinitely. They just had to keep making simple changes, balance the guns occasionally, shuffle the spawns, and add some new packs to the store on a regular schedule.
I'm just trying to get some toothpaste...

My only problem is the last week or two I can get on and play one match okay maybe but the time I start the second I start lagging so bad I can barely play getting packet loss it's almost made the game unplayable
Same. I love DMZ but it can get unplayable. I hsve to reset my router and xbox after nearly every game. It seems to be messing up the NAT type or something.

When you glitch you keep everything in your bag so players will transfer a vest to another operator then glitch again and transfer another vest to another operator etc..

Is it messing with your NAT type--changing it from open to moderate? I have worked to get it to "open" status and when I do, it seems I have no trouble for a little while until something changes it to "moderate" again.
