- Inspired by ToastedCherries' and Remainings' videos about this topic, in this video I take a trip through the ancient, long-abandoned games of Roblox past. Studs abound, half of all the scripts are broken, and not a single player has stepped foot where I am in years. It's gonna be one heck of a journey.

the amount of games from 2008-2011 that coudlve changed the course of roblox but didnt catch on is crazy

theres also this game called undead nation, it was inspired from nano infection and the scripts still get updated, plus the creator tries to keep the game's original feel

On the topic of Roblox games that little to nobody remembers, does anybody know about Mechacubes?
It was an old tower defense game which I really liked due to the towers having dual upgrade paths just like the bloons series. Infact, the whole game was mostly inspired by bloons.
It was suprisingly polished for back in the day, even now it works pretty well!
The game used to be decently popular but now it only ever gets around 0-2 players at once. The game recently got uncopylocked too if anyone wants to try and fix it up or revive it, that would be pretty neat.

A game that was insanely popular back in 2016 was checho'd undertale/deltarune rp. I recently remembered about them and wanted to visit them again. I searched a vip badge that i had for checho's dokidoki roleplay and both undertale and deltarune rps were privated, only dokidoki rp was up for some reason. But man i miss it
Not sure about the Undertale one, but there Is a version of Checho's Deltarune RP still up! Due to moderation reasons it's called "Chech0's Deltarune RP" instead, and it's hosted under its own group

I hate how the Experimental Mode update of 2018 completely killed all the remaining games in the past that still had some of their scripts running and still has some fun factor to it even though it has been shaved off bit by bit by roblox's regular dev updates.
nitro should make a game in the style of an old roblox game. just note every feature and find a way to make a cool game out of it

Fun fact about the monster cereals, there was actually five. One was called Fruit Brute and only released for one year. It was cherry flavor. Also, the original five characters didn’t contain Carmella creeper, it was the classic three, fruit brute, and a ghost.

Im looking for a game from long ago.
The only thing I remember from this game is that it was in a neighborhood and their were keys you could find around the neighborhood for secrets and their was also potions that made you bigger and their were shops in one section of the map and also one thing i remember very vividly is that their was a cop car by the spawn of the map and you could go inside of it to get one of those secret keys. I've been searching for this game for awhile now and it may sound like its a very strange game but its because it is I remember it being really really strange but if you guys could help find it or know what I'm talking about itd be great to get the name of the game.

I swear i can remember an actual roblox game where you could level up magic and get new abilities from magic and have different types of magic from killing different enemies by chance or something, but i cant remember its name, almost like a mandella effect or something

A lot of old plane controls surprisingly still work, thing is that you just need to know the keybinds. It won't move unless you start the engine with Y. Some old planes had GUIs and I found the keybinds are pretty universal for them.

there was this one roblox tsunami survival game from 2014 that i remember. i ended up finding the game in 2021 disguised as a “slide 999 feet” game after deep searching on ms edge, but i lost it again and i’m still so disappointed. when you join the game you spawn in a semi transparent grey box with vip rooms and either a pushable epic face ball or face morphs that has as epic face as one of them. below the grey box in the sky you can see the island… a green baseplate with brown cones(mountains) at 3 of the edges and then water all around… after the intermission is over a building of a house or towers or a giant noob spawns and you have a few seconds to climb it before the wave hits the island.
Honestly, I always feel so sad when I join a game with 0 players, and walking around them with no people feels so creepy.
I would love it if nitrolord made a video on Defend the statue. There's a lot of things that happened to the game that made the devs stop development

I have one kinda horror story bout a old dead game that's called ultimate paintball I was playing it waiting for someone to join I looked away for a second and turned back to my screen and I saw another player thing but before I could see the name they left I looked at the game pages and I was literally correct it said two players were playing me and someone else I am still looking for answers about this to this day I always kinda scares me

When I was still kind of new to roblox I played this game called Robot simulator and I actually found it again cause of an old invite someone sent from 2018 and it’s basically like those weight lifting simulator games but with you become a robot that gets bigger every level up and the game 0 players but had 3 million visits
