1. Does your second house (or taurus sign) have jupiter or aspect of jupiter ? 2. Does mercury has lesser degree than saturn ?
Nikhil S Hi Nikhil- Just seeing this. (1) Neither second house nor Taurus has Jupiter or aspect of/from Jupiter. (2) Mercury and Saturn sit in the exact same degree but Mercury has the higher degree numerically (by a few minutes). Hope that helps.

I love that you mentioned that this can make the person come across older or more mature. I have mercury 3 degrees Aquarius and Saturn 5 degrees Aquarius in the 3rd house. More than anything else I am told I come across far older and wiser than my age. I also tend to have a very serious approach yet people seem to always enjoy my presence or help. I never had much trouble learning though I've always picked things up quickly and hold the information for a long time. I do have dyslexia though. It made reading difficult for me because I have to reread things before I can grasp the words meaning but thats probably the only learning or communication related issue I have noticed. I will say I definitely related to the not feeling understood bit. I have always felt that way. But I enjoy solitude so I'm okay not really having that connection. I feel like it helps though that I'm a Capricorn sun, mars and venus since Capricorn is ruled by Saturn thus having a positive Saturn conjunction would have a good effect on those planets too or the house Capricorn rules. I will add I think my biggest hang up is getting stuck in my head and over analyzing myself for what I want to say or do say. I have always had anxiety around it. I never really understood why until I started digging into this aspect and now it makes sense.

That is so true! My daughter has Saturn Mercury in Scorpio her Lagna and she very often starts to explain something or share and then in a half of the sentence she suddenly abrupt her speech and just say “actually it doesn’t matter” and I can see she goes within herself for a minute. I firstly thought it was my fault maybe I didn’t give her enough attention but then I noticed it’s just her pattern. And it starts like this from 8 I think now she is 10.I always in courage her to keep talking but … ( that is little bit sad)) thank you Ernst!

I stutter and had confidence issues with communication as I have natal murcury retrograde conjuct Saturn and the sun, but I practiced and now I can freestyle rap like not many can and yeah I dont sound like others but I've found my groove and worked through all of this. I am 32 though now it took effort. I am known for having a vicious vocal ability which I try to keep hidden at all times but sometimes the word sword comes out haha
Sharing an info, native with Mercury Saturn Ascendant conjunction in Aries resulted in slow speaking speed as well as slower than usual ability to move (as Mercury affects nervous system and movement is linked to nervous system).

Brilliant. In my case it produces the misunderstanding phobia but also ease with learning piano without the required discipline which isnt so common. Foreign languages too. Pluto is also on the same degree. Venus sun Jupiter in the same sign but further in degree.

I have been doing debates , singing on stage in college and school , doing comparing in college .. I had Jupiter’s 5th aspect on my mercury and Saturn in 6th house . That could be the reason for over confidence ..

Want to share my exp. I have Kumbh lagna . Saturn, venus and mercury conjuct in leo in birth chart. As saturn and mercury are just 1 degree apart, in most of d charts , they are conjuct too. My exp : its true that i have some issues in verbal communication however i thought it was due to ketu being in second house of speech as i break-stop(ketu) while searching for right words. My written communication is quite good though(jupiter helping in gemini) and intelligence little more than average (always used to come in top 3-10 student in class of 50). However it is right, that i feel that i have not been understood during verbal communication, so lot of time have tendency to take lot of time and start from very basic (saturn) and keep on explaining. Its also true that I am lot of times rigid & stubburn (saturn in fire sign ) as I feel there is nothing wrong in taking stand against something which is not principally right.

I have never felt any problem with speech perhaps due to 2nd house Jupiter . I was always a singer , a debater, a sports person etc at school and college level . I have my sun in 5th house in Gemini . But yes I repeat a lot when I talk , I explain my self a lot too much ..lol , if someone says I m wrong or the opinion I have is wrong I stand for it because I weigh and think a LOT about it before uttering .. I m a humanitarian , an Aquarius rising , I cannot see anyone in trouble . My 6th house Saturn mercury makes me a therapist & a dietitian ..

It will depend in which house it resides . If in 8th , or 12th house it can impact .. the ruler of the the zodiac in these houses can also impact
