In this PvP Challenge, Link & Rargh go head to head in a GE challenge. We are allowed to ask players for their worst gear, only to then give it to the other person. We take the total amount of GP that our awful gear is worth and use that to buy our own weapon off the GE. We swap everything BUT our weapon... and then we fight.

RULES:
-Ask for bad gear in the GE
-Fill up all wearable slots EXCEPT weapon (didn't bother with ammo either)
-One item per person, must accept the trade
-We will swap gear after reveal
-After you get the others setup at the GE, price check all the gear you've got and that's how much you can give to a player to spend on the GE for you. Can ask for a good weapon
-We DO NOT switch the weapon
-Given super combat, super restore, 26 sharks for the fight

What a great idea, the concept of using the value of the swapped gear made it insanely balanced and made the fight one of the closest ever because of how balanced the challenge was. Super exciting episode

Have you guys ever considered using the pvp performance tracker plugin to see who’s up damage throughout the fight? Another idea could be putting another frame in the videos during the fight so that we can see both inventories at the same time. Would give some more context to how the both of you are doing during the fight.
Tracker would ruin the fun of it!!!!
I haven't watched every episode, but I'd like to see challenges where you're both stuck in the same area, but any items that you both have, no one can use.

Randomly generate 3 items for each slot, you get 2 rerolls, ask a random person to pick 1-3 to pick the items and fight

Idea: Auction off the different stash units and compete to finish clues in a time period to earn points for the randomizer. You can complete any clue you have items for, but cannot obtain the items you don't have except for a spade.

We had to specifically ask for a bad weapon in the rules, but I agree! There’s different ideas and other fun ways to film challenges like this going forward :)

idea for others choosing inventory, you could ask for a singular piece of food or a singular potion so you each end up with a mix of good and shit rather than a full invent of one or the other

I feel like rargh may have been shooting himself in the foot by specifically requesting “plate”bodies and “plate”legs. Instead of requesting slot items
rargh would have definitely lost if he got addy legs or worse. He would not have been able to get a decent weapon. The d legs made him win. He can thank that guy.

That was the same. We need more random low defense items with high hitting weapons. Could easily tie this into an auction episode or randomizer with low-level defense randomizer yet high-level attack

Idea to balance your weapon with something related to your opponents defense, gp or stats wise is really good probably means we get more closer fights like this

Idea: start with a predetermined amount of gp, give gp to ransoms to buy your gear, you then need to budget it and use whatever you have remaining budgeted for the inventory (your choice- that way you don’t end up with terrible food)
